I thought they changed her design because it was nonstandard. People already liked to bitch about how the Archie characters looked like "OC"s so the redesigns were meant to make them look more like characters within the Sonic game canon, following similar design principles. Full clothing for the females, little to no clothing for the males, shoes and gloves for mostly everyone.

I personally think Nu-Sally is much cuter though, in exchange for not being mostly naked.

Classicfag here. Probably as conservative on what sonic should be as they come.
I wish they would keep classic sonic out of the boost games going forward. Generations was fine as a one-time thing celebrating the franchise, but the classic pandering just seems out of place to me now.
Mania is already more popular than 2017 and is probably going to plant the seeds for the face of the franchise for the next while, so why not let the people that prefer the boost games enjoy them without constant references to the classic era? I just think if I was a boost-preferring person, it would probably piss me off.

The way I see it they now have the mania/classic 2D sprite games for the platforming/traditional audiance, so keep all the classic feeling there. Boost meanwhile should spend less time pandering to that previously mentioned audiance and instead spend more time perfecting and polishing it's playstyle and design imo.
Again I'm not a big fan of boost so I can't really speak for those people, but I can take a guess.

I hope Mania doesn't have the bug Sonic CD's PC port has where the game runs super fast if you have a monitor with a higher refresh rate than 60Hz. Gotta manually cap the framerate or lower the refresh rate to fix it.

Todays stream will have a slight small box representing the charity funding I am raising up towards. Save the Children. Via Gaming for Good those that donate get sent towards the charity UNLESS they move the donation dial.

As much as I appreciate people donating towards the stream. I would rather dedicate this stream for the charity in which the site promotes for all its streamers on the website.

After all I want to do the most good being able to raise up awareness and funding to the charity that will help kids all throughout the world who are suffering with illnesses and injuries.

For every donation. Point tally gets increased. Here is the amount currently now. When I raise up enough. One lucky viewer (or maybe multiple!) will get a free steam key from the website Gaming 4 Good. I prefer this way more in case that when you donate. Not just I get the points. But you the user on the site will be also able to get some too.

Another thing is. I can also used the money saved up (sent from previous donators/Subscriber) to also get a few folks some games. Its not much but its a way to say thank you for watching the stream.

I gotta say the level design in Sonic Advance 1 is more geared towards platforming then it is on Speed. I had major problems in Egg Rocket Zone that I had to be slow and cautious.
That and the enemy placement is INSANE!

Without playing it religiously and studied you would never know off by hand that a Enemy would pop in screen and sucker punch your rings out of the poor Character.

Literally all of the music in Sonic Heroes, right down to the character themes was fucking GOAT in my opinion, but jesus I love Power Plant and i can only describe it as "really cool sounding"

I know the edit has already been done but I would have picked Reboot Nicole if only because it's much easier and would arguably have a more appealing outcome to do fusions for, due to how much more naturally her design would blend with Sticks and Thunderbolt, who have more traditional Sonic character aesthetic. As a whole her reboot design has a lot more to work with in terms of incorporating details on the outfit and such.

Wow all these suggestions for a simple chart.

I think after reviewing these choices I may lean towards "Comic Exclusive" Characters, mostly because the game characters tend to be the most used when it comes to fusions and I think some of the lesser known characters do deserve a little love as well.

Even if you don't succeed before. Try and try again. The later Special Stages become more puzzle/Twitch reaction/Memorization to a point that you have to fail/or by skill make it thru multiple check points to be able to unlock the emeralds.

Valkyria Chronicles had massive popularity which sparked a multimedia franchise. Unleashed is thought of a black sheep of its franchise.

Sega Bass Fishing and Space Channel 5 Part 2 were straightforward ports of Dreamcast games as part of the Dreamcast collections. JSR was also a port of a Dreamcast game, which in generally would be easier to port over, and was pretty much a pet project of Sega Europe

The Adventure games generally have more of a fanbase than Unleashed, and also had prior PC releases to go off of, and even then their Steam versions are pretty bad compared to the originals.

Unleashed has neither the established fanbase, ease of porting, nor nostalgia factor to justify a PC port.
