Can I send sims to bars or whatever without having to control them? I mean, directly. The same as when you go and then switch control to another sim of the family/lot.

Yeah, you can do just that, but is a pain in the ass having to go, go trough a load screen and then switch and get another loading screen...

Also, wew, I think my sims are getting more and more retarded. They love to get a plate of food and then just leave it in the table, looking at it while they starve.
I guess there is something I'm doing wrong, something is in the wrong place or whatever, but is kind of funny see them getting hungrier and hungrier while they have a table full of food in front of them.

Yes, but I'm on version 1.25.136.1020 of Sims 4. Not sure if it works with the latest versions. It can't hurt to try anyway.

not sure how deep it goes but you can at least have a bistro or beach inn, so you can have businesses. if you manipulated the town enough with building yourself i guess you could do a mega corp takeover sort of thing

only thing I agree with is the cant elevate terrain

you can just go and play ts1/ts2/ts3 if you dont like 4 but by no means is 4 "garbage". It was many cute details added to it and things like dine out and group system really improve my storytelling for my sims. vampires are also the best we had so far, same with toddlers.
sims 4 has its negatives and limitations but it is getting better and its not shit.

Not the guy you're arguing with, but for all the shit they've left out from Sims 4 that I miss so far, there was a bunch of shit in Sims 3 that can fucking stay out of Sims 4. For example if a sink ever broke then not only would you have to fix it but you had to mop up all the water, too. That shit would literally take up an entire day. I miss having cars but I don't miss taking half of a day to get in a car/taxi and waiting for it to go halfway across town watching the drive the entire time. I don't miss a Sim taking 30 minutes to get out of bed. I don't miss having to leave an hour prior to the start of work. I don't miss randomly generated NPC Sims dressing up in goofy shit looking like rodeo clowns if you had too many expansion packs installed (random Sims pick random shit to wear and a lot of expansions had goofy clothes like grass skirts and wizard robes). I don't miss Sims automously doing goofy shit if you had too many expansions installed (everyone telling ghost stories on the sidewalk to a bunch of random passing Sims using a flashlight as a microphone - once or twice it's funny but you literally saw that shit happen every day). And basically all the weird shit that went along with all the feature bloat of expansion packs. I know part of the fun of The Sims is all the weird humor in it, but when there's something goofy going on literally every single minute in the game instead of just one or two odd things happening a day, it loses a lot of its punch and is just eyeroll inducing.

I miss a lot of shit from Sims 3 but am having fun with 4 still.
