I... I think I'm finally free.

I tried to stick with my first account for this entire first month, F2P, worked off of what I had in my first few rolls and hoped for the best. The few times I did roll, there was that spike of hoping I could get something out of it, maybe just one character I care about even if they're not top tier, but roll after roll all I ended up with was trash both in terms of gameplay and in terms of the characters I liked.

So I finally cave in to see if I can't salvage this account before declaring it dead. Roll everything to see just what I can get out of it, and sure enough it's even more junk. So hey, whatever, that was off of my free orbs, maybe going the reroll path will get me on a better track, right?


It's been nearly 12 hours. I've been rerolling three different automated instances on Nox for nearly 12 hours now, and I literally have not seen a single roll worth keeping.

And it's then that it hit me; half of the fun, half of the appeal of the game to me is the idea of being able to do these rolls for my favorite franchise characters, right? And here I am, having rolled hundreds upon hundreds upon hundreds of characters now, and not once have I gotten a set that I actually liked. So what's the point? Where's the fun in a system that's so randomized that my shit luck is the sole determinant as to whether or not I'll have fun?


So, I think I'm finally free. I can't find the motivation to keep rerolling. Hell, even if I do get a "good" roll, what do I do from there? Just pray that every roll from then on doesn't suck as much as these all have over the past month?

He takes actual thought to use properly, and some of his more effective tricks are map/unit dependent. His weapon's gravity effect coupled with a unit with Dance, Reposition or Draw Back is especially nasty in some areas, as is his ability to AoE the shit out of things through Savage Blow and his special(if that ever activates). A Res booster to help with tanking mages so he can build that special up through Strong Riposte can be helpful against certain teams.

This event in particular is pretty neat, faction bickering aside. I like how it lets you preview how some units work through friends and teammates(presumably to promote interest in spending orbs on getting copies of them). The lopsidedness of certain matchups can be hit or miss though.

I wonder what do you have right now? Here's mine for instance. I must of did 20 or so rerolls until I got both Lyn and Tacomeme in the starting roll and never looked back. Marth/Hector/Seliph/Lobster/Chrom/Lucina came later, with Lucina herself coming today just in time from the princesses banner. I now have 42 Orbs left not counting the week left of dailies and the 10 orbs from the event.

Two characters I hope we get soon are Myrhh and Joshua. Also Artur with light magic instead of a staff

I started after 2 days of rerolling on an account donated to me because all I wanted was a Hector. Turns out he was -DEF +RES. Well shit, but whatever.

He was my only 5s for a while, but I love him so I soldiered on. A period of 80 orb drought was hard, but each brought me something viable, at least. I slowly put together a team with 4s Cain, Felicia, and Chrom. Really appreciate the 4s Azama I've rolled too and I often took him to Arena for stable 4k runs, as Pain was handy af to soften some enemies to land a clean kill.

Then I rolled into young Tiki, +ATK and -RES so pretty sweet. She was a no-brainer for my arena team, but the glaring weakness to Falchion users was crippling. I had one decent blue in FCorrin, but she's a dragon again, so Lucina and Marth were awful to face against.

And then within the last 2 weeks I managed to pull Eirika, Ephraim (MVP at +1), Linde, Kagero, and Sheena. It's all luck, but one thing about mpbages is certain: you can only get stronger with time, whether you luck out or simply by compiling resources.

Reroll on current banner for Eirika or Ephraim and just start, anon. The longer you stay in your funk the more shit you miss out on. Those bonus maps packing 30 orbs won't stay around forever, missions refresh monthly as well.
