How do I set which character my friends can use? I have a Takumi and Azura. Which one would you prefer more? I know Takumi is a good DPS but I figure everyone has some sort of good DPS and would prefer a support.

need help which hero to 5* next, I feel it should be Marth, even though I wanted Nowi but she doesn't gain THAT much from 5* and all those antidragons in the arena make her useful anyway.

The IVs are:

Marth -spd +atk
Tharja -def +res
Robin -res +spd
Nowi -hp +spd
Tiki -res +hp

Catria was tanky as hell when facing red lords (like 80% of teams have at least 1 of them), and could bait them into low hp or outright KO them with luna. Just had to keep her away from takumemes and everything else

For (F)robin i seriously don't know what to do with her. She gets (b) tomebreaker but doesn't seem to be able to get rid of the important (b)tome in linde, and calvary is sill quite rare ATM.

Also, I'm actually not sure if she can get rid of Olwen and Reinhardt with their high res, even with her anti-cal tome

That Sully has great IVs, Jagen does want +res since he is a mage killer and tank (I was very lucky that mine is -hp, +res). Both are workable for sure but maybe Jagen a little less so because he is -atk, I'd say try them both and see how they work out.

I'm going through the same choice right now. 3*+1 +spd -def Sully and 3*+1 +atk -HP Jeigan.

The former is basically the same deal as Narcian, who is surprisingly good in Arena even at 3* due to his extreme specialized role. Sully hates swords as much as he hates axes, and there's of course even more swords out there.

Jeigan has Fury for extra stats for points and comes with an 11 atk weapon at 3* which is cool. But he only has Fury rank 1 so it's not that big a difference. Bonus is his art is badass, also Jeigan is badass.

There's not much point wasting 1850 feathers on either of them because the entire point of using them is to get a slightly higher ranking for the next 2 weeks. Leaning towards Sully because I had such a surprisingly good experience using Narcian.

Both have great IVs. Jeigan is slow and as poor defense and Sully is faster even without the +spe but also has poor defense. Sully is pretty res resistant too. You don't need Fury on Jeigan if it's just for the Voting Gauntlet stuff since stat totals don't mean as much.

Like you said Sully has Narcians role only with more movement and arguably better skills. If you know how to use Narcian you know how to use Sully. Jeigan is a magic killer and if you can buff his speed he'll kill everything else too.
