Sword can tutor albert, play him earlier, leave him on board for the next turn to attack for 10 more damage, and can't be damaged so he can be used as removal as well.
11 damage meme combo requires two cards that can not be be mentored, takes two turns to set up, and requires 5 shadows you have to get from 4 other cards dying. If you use any decent removal spells or other cards, you will lose your shadows and miss out on the combo. Also, the only other storm follower requires 4 shadows. Meanwhile storm gets storm damage printed on every other card.

1.Right Click on SV in your steam library and click on properties.
2.Navigate to language change it to Japanese. (wait for it finish updating)
3.Navigate to the shadowverse steam folder (\SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\Shadowverse\Shadowverse_Data\StreamingAssets)
4.Copy the following files from the "a" folder:
"ui_class_03_base.unity3d"
"ui_class_03_base_lose.unity3d"
"ui_class_03_base_win.unity3d"
"ui_class_03_encampment.unity3d"
"ui_class_03_level.unity3d"
"ui_class_03_profile.unity3d"

5.Change your SV back to english (again wait for it to update)

I prefer Wolf Bolt to Tempo/Aggro. You're too reliant on drawing Cynthia while you have a full board, and using Liza to protect it. It's not usually very effective. Wolf Bolt, on the other hand, gives you a similar early win chance (minus the Cynthia, but still with Roaches/Mays etc) but a fantastic endgame win condition.

It's really context-dependent. Usually I'll say yes, and you can try to recoup some of them if you can't pull off the early win with an Ancient Elf or a Homecoming (I run 2 Homecomings, they're a more consistent boardclear than WotF).

It is a balance though. If you go all out early with your fairies your Wolf Bolt will struggle. You really need to stack fairy generators for that reason. And you need to try to recognise what deck you're playing against as quickly as possible so you know whether you need to fight early or not.

I feel like playing on curve isn't as game-winny in this game. Going first or second as well as matchups are a bigger factor, IMO. Like, if I don't play a minion until T3-4 vs some decks as Seraph, I can still win but even a T1 plea, t2 snakelady, t3 temple defender, t4 bald man and t5 evo angel can still result in Daria killing me before I can even Themis.

Some decks like Ungabats and Sword can also just consistently reach the same results without playing the right cards on curve also. In that regard, I think it's more about deck wincons and how they fare against one another. In a nutshell, and this is just my opinion:

matchups > draws > turn order > playing on curve
