So got my caster character into maps and received a rude awakening. Spell damage is super duper gem level dependant.

The bow character i played before post drillneck nerf has like 33k dps against bosses with crap grear. With fully leveled gems that goes up to 39k.

My caster on the other hand with level 20 gems would do 42k against bosses (and has much better defense). However for now my gems are level 16 so my dps is a whooping 16k. Maybe 17k with a golem. It's really painful my clears are fine actually (for now) but boss kills are really painful.

but if you are still interested its your basic srs summoner.
you dont even need much a 5l is enough.
lvl 70 is good enough to do uber izaro ez pz.
all you need is +1 or +2 to fire gems on your staff. which you easily get through essences. a lvl 17 gem is plenty to kill him in like 2 seconds per phase.
echo - srs - minion dmg - melee dmg - melee dmg on full life - empower is your single target bosskiller. it kills most bosses in the blink of an eye not even joking. i missed boss healthbars before. hatred and anger on generosity and you dont even need hast anymore because fleshoffering is plenty but vaalhaste is decent.
swap out melee damage on full life for melee splash while mapping and swap it back in for bosses.
melee damage on full life is so good on srs since many bosses dont attack instantly the moment they become targetable. so you can take a lot of advantage of it especially with minion leech from the tree. its kinda like a hidden secret of srs guy.

you dont need much more. everything else is really up to you you can run zombies or do elemental equilibrium with an arc totem. but you dont need it.

Is HC trading always this dead early league, or did the SSFHC option really take away a shitload of the playerbase? I know that SC temp typically has 4-5x as many players as HC temp, but I wanted to buy a vault map and there's currentyl 1 for sale on HC legacy and 33 for sale on SC legacy.

I didn't use one before the breach league but at that point I had to, couldn't see shit during breaches in maps.

I'm doing a Ek-nova build right now and its great. Granted that I have to find the said jewel but with Ek/Bladefall/Bvortex you have enough physical spell variety to make up for the lack of items while amassing what oyu need.

Also, the plan is to go for some phys to chaos, but physical spells are easy to add anything you want. Fire? theres a support for that and auras. Same for cold, lightning, etc. Very easy to tweak. GC must be on the same boat I guess, even if col/phys.
