I finally got my phat PS3 downgraded to 3.55 and installed CFW rebug on it

I then downloaded https://www.nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=667391 prepatched version of ToV

I've been reading on how to use CFW and it seems most everything installs in .pkg files which seem simple enough.

The above torrent doesn't come in a .pkg file so I'm not quite sure how to run it on CFW.

basically you need to make a txt file in the luma locales folder named with the title id of the game or dlc you're trying to load from another region. inside that txt file you need to put in 3 characters for the region and 2 for the language so for japan it would be JPN JP

Friends, I started work on my wiiU, and it's kinda complicated for me to buy a VC DS title to install haxchi, so I went with the mocha cfw route on the guide. I got it running, but it was very roundabout, is there any way to make it quicker? I'd love some sort of icon in the home menu that would boot me into mocha automatically or something, like one of those channels on the old Wii. To be more informative, all I want to do is play games, with online, I'm not really interested in the other uses of homebrew. I read in the guide that I could install them in a USB via the brazilian method, but I don't have an HDD (IIRC you can install them directly on the wiiU right? What about an SD card? I got a 64gb one and would like to use it very much) and things like DLC and other features DO still need mocha to be running to be played, so again it would be nice if I could press the icon to boot into mocha and then play the games I wanted.

How do I go about all this? Sorry if my questions are overly stupid, but any help would be appreciated.

So I have Zelda on the Wii U thanks to mocha and WUP but there's a slight problem. Two actually. The game works fine, I did everything right in terms of getting it to actually play but:

1. I don't have a menu icon for mocha, even though I followed the steps. I'm getting tired of having to run the browser and having a 50 percent chance of having to restart. Can someone please detail for me what exactly I have to do to get the menu icon? I have the homebrew appstore and everything else needed.

2. How do I get to 1.1 safely? Do I search for the update tik amd use WUP again? Of someone could detail this for me to it would be great.

To my knowledge there really isnt a hard drive that won't work with the Wii. I use a WD drive and it runs my Wii and GameCube games just fine. My only suggestion I can make is try to go for something fairly recent or WD. I don't know if 3.0 is a problem for the Wii but you could go 2.0 just to be safe.

the 3ds is a great all around machine pick up a ds flashcart with it and you get access to one of the best libraries ever made.
the psp nativle runs psp and ps1 games. all models are hackable. it also has a lot of great emulators for older systems that work perfectly with it due to aspect ratio of the screen.
i recommend getting a psp2k models or psp1k.

yeah the psp emulator is great and near perfect.
however the device itself has a certain charm.
the cfw for it is also great it supports kernel level plugions that do a lot of great things.
for example you can use the pro online client to play adhoc only games online or with other ppsspp users.
theres an index of people using psps or the emulator to play online.

the reason the psp is better in many respects is that the emulators are specifically tailord for it. ps1 games run flawlessly and with pops loader you can even load different versions of the built in emulator if you so choose.
plugins for cheats or other things are available for all aspects of the device. they are organized by categroies and can be turned on or off for example for the main menu games or ps1 seperatly or altogether.
its a great little device and nowadays you can get great batteries for it that let it run overclocked for more than 8 hours.
its the best emulation hand held to date.
