I hate to break it to you, but thanks to Battlefield aimbots these days are perfectly capable of leading for projectile speed and gravity drop.
This PROBABLY doesn't mean anything in Titanfall since I don't think there's anyone making any big cheats for it anyway, but it is worth being aware of in general if you're a PC gamer.

For slows, yes. It was nerfed recently so it can't kill in one burst anymore, and its hipfire is shit. If you ADS and track your targets well its got some stopping power to it, but thats not a feasible strategy if you go FAST.

I liked the smr before I started using the lstar. I still use the smr on my lts class though. I started leveling it originally just to have the two slots for lts and I got use to it by the time I genned it. Now I can't use it anymore. I rather just use the lstar if I want a projectile machine gun.

huh, weird. ive been playing grenadier weapons for months now, combined with my average skill resulted in pretty average k/d ratio. however, its always been above my "lifetime" average of 1.4, only dipping to 1.3 for one game a while ago. it hovers beween 1.7-2.3

tone has been meta since day 2 when everyone realized it was the easiest and strongest titan. its still really strong and will continue to be in the "meta" unless they re-work the titan. the way tone is, its just too easy to play, plain and simple.
you get the same results, with way less effort, as a ronin/scorch user who puts a ton of effort into getting the situation right to secure a titan kill. nerfs help to be sure, but tone needs a rework to be truly balanced.

Oh the video editing I use After Effects or Premiere, then export it as an H264 high quality MP4 or MKV and then use Webm for retards to convert it to webm.
I prefer this system to using the webm encoder After Effects has cause it's harder to get the final resolution and bitrate right for the 3MB.

For that one in particular I used Premiere because after I did a lot of editing on After Effects it decided to crash, lose all my progress and then refuses to start so instead of bothering to fix that fuckup I just did it with Premiere. It's very easy to do slow motion with Premiere, you just cut up the video into portions you want to time shift and then use the "speed" modifier to cut down the speed from 100 to whatever you want. In that clip the first slowdown is to 50 and then when I pull the wingman it slows to 25, then back up to 100 then back down to 25. It could be much more fluid and nicely edited if I had done it with After Effects, as it's harder to create a smooth transition with Premiere, but it gets the job done.

There's lots of tutorials online on how to do a proper time warp effect / slow mo for After Effects and Premiere so you shouldn't have issues doing it.
As for the letterbox effect it's just a black solid with an animated substraction mask. You can even go further and add a radial blur effect to give it a speed feeling too, there's lots of stuff you can do.

It sucks though that on 4chan there is no sound on webms, because the sound really makes the clip much cooler.
