Shugoki has a whopping 160 which when combined with his passive makes him tanky as fuck.

Surprisingly Kensei only has 125 health which is 5 higher than Orochi and other assassin classes

With a base damage of 30 on LB's GB>side heavy, he'll inflict 28.8 damage with minimum attack stats (-4%. I don't know how this game handles fractional damage, so it's either 28, 28.8, or 29).

So against someone with baseline defense, minimum attack will still secure a kill on a final bar.

However if the opponent has maximized defense, my damage is decreased by an additional 24%, dropping it to ~21.8 which is below that 25 HP threshold.

I don't know how much defense reduces if it's their secondary stat.

If it was you or at least a similar situation, don't dodge so much around lawbringers. Guardbreaks are one of their only reliable ways they can confirm damage, so they're constantly looking for an opportunity to GB someone. Dodging gives them an opportunity to land an untechable GB.

How do I counter warlord's headbutt into light or heavy spam or whatever? Just roll/dodge? I'm seeing a good bit of them now and they just do that and the gb into heavy. His butterknife always surprises me with the speed of his lights too, since it feels so slow when you play him.

Stunning Tap can be used off a dodge (predictable if spammed) or used to cancel heavy attacks
Raider can chain a guardbreak off a dodge like Kensei
Forward Throw>Area is pretty much guaranteed damage vs most of the cast, but it destroys your stamina. Side throw into heavies is faster and costs less when your opponent is exhausted
