From a pure aesthetic point it looks stupid too

So I just beat ME2 as an Adept and I absolutely loved it, but I'm finding it kind of awkward to play in ME3. Everything is so much faster in ME3 and I'm finding that while I cast literally like 4x as many attacks, none of them feel as impactful.

Singularity feels odd, and my favorite combo was Pull, and then Throw to send them off a ledge or way into the sky but that doesn't work too well in 3, it just seems to make an explosion.

I'm planning on playing it a bit more to see how I feel but I'm actually considering restarting (I'm only an hour in) but I'm not sure what class I want to play, any suggestions?

I played Vanguard the first time I beat this game, and I'm playing on Insanity if it makes a difference. I was thinking maybe Soldier but I'm not sure how satisfying the shooting will be compared to 2.

Being Soldier is definitely not as satisfying as in 2. In 2 I'd go out of my way to use sniper rifles/shotguns, but they just don't have the same kick in 3.

Yeah, they already feel pretty overpowered but they just aren't as fun to use as they were in ME2. In ME2 I'd pull someone 20 feet into the air and then throw them straight down into the ground 1 shotting them, or launching them 100 feet into the air. It was amazing.

I just found an Assault Rifle and so far it feels really awkward. There's zero recoil and it looks like a toy. I spent quite a bit of ME2 using a Sniper after getting the Weapons Training and it was fantastic.

Engineer has more Utility via Cryo and Combat Drone so it offers more playability in that aspect. Overload and Incinerate are going to be your primary uses though.
Most combos will come off of Incinerate. I personally find the tech combos more satisfying visually and also because their original intention isn't to make someone fly like Throw so it makes more sense.

Yes. Sera was exactly like that. The worst part was that she only grew as a character in the fucking final DLC. Nothing worse than an annoying character who remains static. However, Sera's character was entirely built on those personality traits. She was meant to be a selfish, annoying, belligerent asshole. She was supposed to be other things too, but it's hard to see past that.

The difference is that Peebee isn't meant to be as abrasive as people find her, but she is anyways. She's supposed to be a little difficult but you and the team end up loving her anyways and accept her into your little family. Even the voice actor stresses this. All this says to me is that once again the devs are on a different wavelength with the players regarding how they see a character. Which would be fine, if they just kept it as their personal view. But whenever that happens, said character just gets forced down the players' throats.

I think the problem with Blackwall is that this was the wrong game for him. This would have been exactly the game to have a real Grey Warden character who had to deal with the fallout of what his brothers did and reconcile his views on the Grey Wardens. A fake Warden had no real stakes in DAI, so they had to manufacture them into his backstory.

A fake Grey Warden would have been much more in place in a game like DAO, where you played a real Warden.

Always felt like Ruthless was a "no compromise" kind of psychological profile. It's about willingly sending people to their death, executing surrendering prisoners and accepting the consequences of such actions.
Always felt that it fitted a "consumate professional" kind of Spectre. The one that gives speeches about "it's war, people die, fight for who's left" but still do stuff like save the council because it's his job to do protect the galaxy.
At least that's how I played it.

Theres logs about how they made a refugee museums in 2040 to make up for racist conservative actions and shit. Then when you find like holographic messages from the past its by muslims in headscarfs and shit.
