I played the open beta and thought it was actually pretty fun. Pharah was sort of soldier, junkrat was sort of demo, and symmetra had weird shit going on.

Turns out pharah is a soldier with the base jumper (so, not amazing), junkrat is garbage, and symmetra was super garbage until they recently buffed her by letting her put down a dispenser.

I expected the game to get, you know, updates. I should have known it would be hell because it was Blizzard though.

its that one really small capture area, the one right by their spawn
there's tons of routes but the issue is stacking engies
you can't kill all the sentries in time for them to build another
spies can't get in cause its so ridiculously tight
a decent demo can spam yea, but you never have demos, you get 3-6 useless spies trying to sap a sentry with 24/7 pyro med/pocket guard
the point needs opened up or the spawn needs moved, hell even just limiting engies on last parts of defense to 2 would set a lot of it straight

This matchmaking update really killed the game. Now there are queues in pubs and stacked as fuck teams. Then when the match ends in a quick stomp, you go into a different mode. Community servers are dead as fuck. I just miss playing some 5CP valve pubs for a long time. Sometimes the match is fun and 2 rounds isn't enough, and when it comes to map vote people pick some shitty option.
