How to get started with drawing?

I've been brainstorming some operators and general ideas as to what Siege could do to stay fresh and I had an idea I want your opinions on.

I'll be honest and say I'm not really a big tom Clancy buff; not really into military or muh patriotism but I fucking love Siege. Would it be out of the question to release a surprise operator mid season in a reinforcement that freelances? Surely there is a character in Tom Clancy lore that is just an independent merc. His "ctu" color is just gray or something and his bio declares he's just some merc.

My original idea was that he'd be the first and only hybrid operator that can Atk or Def; the obvious issue being that the enemy team will know he's coming if you pick him first.

Idk, just sharing some ideas, could this work?

It depends on what level you think you're at already with drawing. If you're starting from stick figures, you'll need to start with your fundamentals before you'll be satisfied with anything you try to do. Your ideas will always be bigger than your capabilities early on, so you just have to be aware of that and try not to sell yourself too short when you try to make something and it doesn't work out. You don't have to show everything off, keep some of it for yourself and just use it as reference for where you need to improve or what progress you've made.
Don't dive headfirst into trying to put your ideas onto paper, it'll just frustrate you. Practice first.

Focus on the category of pic related if you still need to grasp onto the basics of form and space.

Because those maps allow defenders to be aggressive which fucks over people new at the game on attack.

Kanal is one of the best designed map in the game, you can take control of the opposite building and push towards the objective, there's tons of good angles to hold as a defender but none you can't flush out via rappelling as an attacker. All the spawnpeeking spots are really easy to spot out too, but it still allows for flanking as it should.

Losing an attacker at the beginning is a much bigger hindrance than a defender, especially if the spawnpeeker isn't a braindead moron and uses his gadgets before getting domed. It doesn't take a genius to realize why people aren't fond of spawn peeking.
