I can't help but feeling that this new Quest mechanic is just a worse Elise.

Elise is greatly balanced IMO.
Its fun, has a great trade off (you get Legendary cards, but they aren't strictly good), and you have descent control on when you get it while only taking 1 deck slot.

Also it creates tons of archtypes, you can build it on fatigue warrior, mill rogue, cycle druid or w/e you want.

On the other hand, the new Priest Quest card forces priest into Deathrattle piest, has a shitty trade off of needing to stuff your deck with Deathrattle cards which are a small selection as it is, and it gives you a early game since you are down a card.

Its dragon priest all over again, they just pushed another archetype on us again..

Hearthranger gives 2 hours of free botting per day, enough for 50g of win farming. This general used to be completely dominated by botting in 2014 when crawler was instantly cracked.

So the free botting on top of the new jew antics by Blizzard make more people realize how this game isn't worth the grinding time or money investment, but botting gives all the pro's without any cons.

I actually got super lucky with MSOG and got Kazakus, Patches & Wickerflame from ~30 packs.

I got ~2k gold and am hoping for some good luck again, but since there are going to be so many class specific legos, im sure Im gonna be fucked.

I can only assume that unlike MSOG where you got those 2~3 good Legos that are either faction or neutral and you are set for the whole expansion, here if you want to have some fun youll probably need that specific class legendary, which means F2P like me are gonna eat shit.

The *only* difference between the standard Renolock (made legend with it this season) and Wild renolock vs pirate matchup is the cannon, and better defensive tools. Deathlord, sludge belcher and antique healbot are dope.

These card games are making a lot of cash for them at low expense. HS is the new WoW for blizz. Overwatch is helping as well with all the microtransaction that works like HS packs, but are even less generous with "dust" refunds for duplicates (yes, fucking duplicates skins!).

I don't know why people focus so much on the "Free" part of a F2P game, when its been seen countless times that these games do not function pass a certain point by staying free. Either you are completely blocked in progression until you pay, or it takes forever to grind, or it becomes inconvenient. Example of inconvenience would be PoE with 3 stash tabs when you play free. Sure its playable, you can also mule your stuff but eventually you really want some extra stash to not have to deal with this shit. And this is okay for PoE.

Now for HS.... well its a card game, so really, after being out for 3 years, 3 YEARS, what the hell do people expect.

I have never, never seen any f2p game that is 100% fun while staying f2p. The free portion should be treated as a tutorial of some sort, an insurance that you actually like the game before spending a little on it. And even then, you rarely want to spend only once, and end up spending more than a real, full priced AAA game.

Seems like in real life each legendary would be average worth about 25 bucks then because it costs 25 dollars per card. Some being 100+ of course.

If you want each class quest you probably need to spend about 25x9 + n with n being the amount of dust needed to finish the rest assuming you are starting from 0 dust
