I have not played in over 6 months. I think the last time I played was July of last year.

I quit cold turkey because I realized that even though I am fortunately in a position where I could afford it, I was spending way more money on the game than I thought was healthy. It just seemed like in order to even come close to staying geared, I needed to spend real world $. I don't mind paying for costumes, but paying (a lot) to stay geared felt wrong.

My question is: has this changed in any way? If I was perfectly happy to spend, say, $20/month, would that even make a dent in the gear race?

(Note that I guess one of the reasons it was hard is I have 6 toons I tried to play regularly, and can't play for more than like 15 hours per week).

Is leveling an alt harder now than before since the new streamlined weapons? What accessories do I go for since there's no more HM accessories?

Is 200 life drain worth anything? I'd have to buy some bundles to get the event jewel, but I would only be getting one and I'm not paying for 3 AP.

Easier, they give you good enough weapons and accessories as main story rewards. Purple dungeon drops are even better, I flew through the entirety of Cinderlands before I even thought about needing to upgrade because of how fast I was killing everything with a Narrows weapon.

You can just farm the outfits again since they're practically no effort. Level 40 is what, end of cinderlands and the beginning of moonwater plains arc? Then transfer the cash shop/movable outfits with stamps.

I spent 3 weeks every day then to farm infinite challenge, 5 days for the stuff you mostly got from wheel spins and old purples you can cheese through is nothing.

Just play whatever you think looks cool. If you have 250-300 in-game ping, you'll be doing piss poor damage outside of your initial burst.

The least ping dependent class people would direct you to would be Summoner, but you'll want to kill yourself the moment you compare your utilization of Overflow compared to other people.

My advice to you would be to play another game entirely. If you're persistent and would like to try BnS, I suggest a high burst class like Warlock or BM. At high ping, your sustained damage is almost non-existent.

Well for context I'm doing soul fighters combo of LMB + RMB till iron shoulder
Then: LMB + RMB + LMB + F and I can't tell whether the RMB is being picked up before or after the 2nd LMB.

2. SF's Earth RMB (Cobalt Punch, the one you ani cancel with) has a notable delay after use before you can use another ability that cannot be canceled. If you press F->LMB too fast after you'll skip over the F proc and just get the LMB. The timing is somewhat awkward to get used to.

Forgot to mention in >>169539775 but you should not be doing 2x LMB's per round. SF Earth animation cancel when you have at least 1 stack of chi is RMB->F->LMB -> Repeat. Technically if you don't need focus it's also optimal to drop the LMB entire as it actually delays your next RMB slightly (ex. why the PvP combo is explicitly RMB->F, with no LMB)

For example, this is what the Animation cancel should look like. First have is with no chi/until you get an Iron Shoulder proc, second half is with at least 1 Chi stack.

I don't know about the differences between 4 and 6 man but I've had stacks of 10+ stingers drop quite often in mandate and since I used a scale I got them for like 1 copper. Yesterday a stack of 10+ stingers dropped in Asura first boss too so I'm sure it's pretty common. Don't give up.
