At some point in time during any attack, you get guard immunity. I don't think any attacks have complete/instant guard immunity, but some of them have fewer vulnerable startup frames than the number of startup frames for a grab, meaning it's impossible to grab them after they've pushed the attack button unless you pushed the grab button long beforehand.

Does great damage.

Go-to damage dealing moves involve guard break into side heavy into shield bash (can decide from there whether to side heavy again / light attack / or wait).

One thing that I've had good experience with is the running shield bash (knocks them down for a guaranteed side heavy). Since people are expecting you to usually just charge at them and do the move as soon as you reach them I like to keep running and wait for them to dodge and then I can just knock them down.

You just need to keep pressure on them. I haven't used the zone much in fights yet but you can hold it down to repeat the swing (useful in revenge mode when you have infinite stamina.)

They roll away - half of the time the sideways heavy will catch up to them for some reason. But only the smart ones do that, most will try to parry anyway. It's mostly a reflex thing, your brain knows that kensei is fucking with you, but will try to parry it anyway, just because it's a scary orange fiery thing flying at you. Some decent raider have fucked with me with their unblockables like that, too.

I suppose you could throw some light attacks in. Conqueror has an infinite chain attack with light attacks sometimes I can get a few in by changing my guard up and letting them swing. Dodging with A W or D also allows you to shield bash but I'm unsure that you can get a hit on them (I have been able to get hits off with dodge shield bash and side heavies but not all the time) but if their back is to a wall then you can just shield bash them into it and go to town.

Warden is a pussy who can not stand for his principles even though he keeps talking about them.

Raider is LEGENDARY! Also honest about his motivations, straightforward in his goals, and decisive in his actions. He is bland, but at least he lives up to the expectations people have for him.

Orochi is a legendary warrior, who understands both war and politics. He is ready to sacrifice everything, including his life, for the good of his people, and does not fear to face any challenge. He stands up to anyone who needs to be stood up to, and does his best to end up on top.

Thinking about it, it could even have been a good reason for why Warden doesn't desert Apollyon earlier. During the "I HAVE QUESTIONS" mission, you could have controlled only Stone and have Warden be elsewhere so he doesn't see Apollyon being obviously evil and he only knows of the more reasonably Holden Cross.

Hell, might have even been a good tutorial for how to defend against several people as a heavy, considering the end of the mission.

Think about it like this anon; how did you get more takedowns AND more deaths? Shouldn't your deaths be equal to the enemy's takedowns, and theirs yours? Wouldn't that imply that having more deaths is the same as having fewer kills?

Takedowns are like overwatch elims, you can score one hit on someone and you get a takedown when they die. However, if two people kill one person, the team as a whole still only gets the points for one kill. Having more kills doesn't get you more points, having fewer deaths does (unless reviving gets you enough to compensate for a death).

I notice that as long as you pick a fast character you will win, no matter what you're fighting. Every single time I fight and Orochi, Beserker, or Peacekeeper

Seems to be related to matchmaking "areas", its really difficult to find duels if you live anywhere near Brazil for example.

Hey guys, bought the game yesterday, but I feel as though no matter how much I've practiced, I keep getting shit on. How do I get consistent with my combos and just git gud in general? Maining Warden btw.

Also, as a side note: This matchmaking is fucking retarded. My highest level is 11 and in about 80% of my matches I get paired with people who have been no-lifeing the game since it came out, with rep 2+.

Play a lvl3 bot and take your time. Every time you get hit or things don't go as planned question why that happened and how you can prevent it next time.

Gear and rep mean nothing outside of 4v4 matches. You can find R8 PKs who don't even know how to deal with parries. Gear is completely aesthetics-only in 1v1s and 2v2s.

Litrally all the class has is damage, he has no skills, no unique moves, no way to break open guards. If you are getting ruined by a berzerker it has to be that you never learned the basics of the game. Everyone skilled at blocking and parrying ruins zerker as a class.
