To be fair, is only ez because of the huge imbalance between good pilots and bad ones. You shouldnt really NEED to rely on AA to take pilots out, the problem is pilots are either really shitty or really good.

I rarely go down because 9/10 times the other team's pilot is a chucklefuck who doesnt know how to dogfight or maneuver at all, and just watched a youtube video of some guy dominating and thought "hurr im gonna get on the plane and do that!". That being said, AA still doesnt need a nerf. I almost feel bad racking up these scores.

The darts are insane and can easily take out the AA installations on any map because anyone who has flown that long knows where they are.

Counter piloting is hard when they have 2-3 planes up because your retarded teammates won't cap and keep the important vehicle flags making it an unwinnable landslide.
The trench fighter just should not have been in the game as is, the darts are fucking strong.

I disagree on the darts. You cant get sneaky kills with them from way above, they spread too much. Also, the darts cant destroy vehicles, including stationary ones like AA guns. AA is fine the way it is, maybe it needs a bit of auto aim or range boost, and DEFINITELY fix the friendly AA fire where the explosions rubberband friendly planes. The few times i crash on a fighter is because i was flying low and some explosion went off near me causing it to wobble like i was playing on a 500ms ping.

Maybe there should be plane tutorials for dogfighting or something, im telling you a good counter pilot makes a better difference than any AA. Even if you cant kill 'em, if you can keep up the chase and threat it'll keep them honest and out of infantry's hair.

If i had an account on reddit i'd tell those people defending the nerf how nuts they are. Im a damn good pilot, but the balance is way off. They seriously need modes where people can learn how to dogfight so its not a gamble as to which team got the good pilot and which team got the retard. I'd say AA's should stay as they are, damage wise, but add a periscope like spotting so planes turn bright red on their screen.

the only kit actually worth using it's ridiculously powerful. As fun as it is I really think pickups should not be able to reload and have an option to drop the kit once you run out of ammo.

Scouts not as bad as I thought it was initially. For a "sniper" class it's better than a lot of other BF games. The gwendlhr or whatever it is called, the one that has a high fire rate is my favourite so far. I just play ti like a slightly more difficult to use medic class

one thing scout does well for me is dominate points that are heavily contested. when people are already running around at 70-80 hp you can just bodyshot them for a kill. I was playing before and a few times it would be 3-4 kills in a row as fast as I could fire. you can't really do that with other classes, not even bipod lmgs.

How do you get tons of points? Just play the objective and be a medic/support class?

For pure points, be in a squad that is capping flags. A full cap on a flag with a squad order on it is over 1000 points I'm pretty sure. Staying with your squad means pretty much anything you do will have a squad bonus on top of it, you don't even have to be good, or even have a positive kdr. I've lost plenty of games where the enemy teams top 10 players have had way more points than our team, yet all had kdr of like 0.60

howitzer is ok in the wide open, HMG is easier to use in the open like sinai desert than the flanker. You just have to be careful because the other tanks can 2 shot you and even with the howitzer if you get the jump on people you need at least 3 hits to kill them.

I was on Giants Shadow and got stuck at A dealing with backcappers, couldn't move towards C/D without taking 70-80 damage from fieldguns/grenades/k boolits/AT rockets

It's funny, BC2 had terrible netcode and the maps weren't balanced at all but it managed to be fun.

You know what I hate most about airchavs? Most of the time these fucks aren't even trying to shoot down other planes. They just straight up ignore attack planes and bombers because they aren't a threat to them while farming. It's just horrible when your team has a 40-0 asshole but you're still getting raped by a bomber.

BC2 was a product of it's time. There were some really glaring issues like not being able to go prone. Honestly if they made BC3 today it will probably be very similar to BF3 and 4. The only reason BC2 seems so awesome is because it was head and shoulders better than any other modern shooter of that time. The map design was on point though, Rush was for most maps very well balanced. I also liked how they treated weapon optics like a weapon bonus, rather than something everyone has. having to choose between sights or extra ammo was actually tough.

The Russian is the only exception, it fees so cheap like I'm sniping in MW2 or MW3. I agree though, I love the infantry variants. Martini and SMLE Infantry are the best. Hitting spotted people from afar is a salt mine especially on Fao and Empire's Edge.

why is cavalry class so underrated? I've been playing it a lot lately and it's insanely fun off the horse. ammo pouches and healing, AT nades, a sword, a decent primary that can 1 shot headshot or 2 shot at close-medium ranges, and armour that makes you more resistant to damage and makes you basically never lose a 1v1 gunfight. So much fun.

Automatico is a well balanced and fun weapon to use in a game riddled with poor design and balance choices that makes most of the weapons cumbersome and annoying to use.

In general people that are bad can't comprehend how people that are good manage to do what they do, this is pushed further by good player using good weapons and bad players die to them constantly. Because of this they whine and complain and blame the weapon they died to rather than look at their own skills and understanding what really happened. This is pushed even further due to the fact that bad players don't understand how to pick out a proper kit, use the appropriate weapon, and change their playstyle/kit to fit the map at hand.

Giant open areas, maps like Sinai anger me because we get one little spot of city and the rest of the map is barren bullshit. Why can't we have an entire map with houses like that? Even BC2 had conquest mode in Oasis that hard more fucking houses than this.

Unfinished/lazy maps like Rupture and Giant's Shadow anger me too. Giant's has the same issue as Sinai with a few housing areas but the rest is barren but you just have to look at the river sections to see how lazy they are. Bridge models haphazardly slapped onto the map with no polish or anything, Rupture has one giant bridge with nothing around it. They don't even have brush or buildings around the rivers, just open land and terrain that awkwardly rolls down into the water.
