Yes, this will make the sviex very sad. The up-side is that if it was an existing model, if you retrace your EXACT steps for the thin and fat versions of the model, that will give you the thin/fat svis.

Yes. At some point the models must exist for you to extra the svis from them. Cheating is literally using the normal mesh, instead of making thin/fat ones, and saying "fuck it, good enough." Usually passable for thin as long as you can't see her skin at all, but fat is less agreeable.

Yep. Export all 3 versions of the mesh and repeat your work for all 3 sizes. Some programs have a "apply these changes to that model" feature, but I have no experience with that function. I did all my editing manually.

Hold up. Sviex morphs are between weights. States 1/2/3/4 for stage of dress are entirely different models from one another, each with their own sviex files for the different weights. One outfit is made of 12 models if you make the whole thing, though the game itself only needs 4 models and then 12 sviex files. You could easily, in 5 minutes, make an outfit that was
State 1 - Blazer
State 2 - Sweatervest
State 3 - Swimsuit
State 4 - Bloomers
and it would have fully functional sviex. (though the textures would look like shit in a lot of places)

Hex edits do not turn on submeshes or create panties from nothing in general use. Hex edits are for properties of the mesh, like turning it translucent or making it so it's always visible, no matter what you put in front of it. Hex edits will never put a bra on Kouri.

For this outfit this is state 2, torso-wise identical to state 1 except for the fact that the breast physics behave as if she had no bra on. Your post made me think that it might be a lack of bones that affect the chest so I might check on that later

all even numbered states have invisibra removed. The only exception is the full nude outfit whic has invisibra removed in all states. No one figured out a way to toggle it so assume it's hardcoded.

The evidence that it's hardcoded comes from the fact that no matter what outfit you put in the official nude outfite slot, it won't have the invisibra. Conversely, taking the model from the nude outfit slot and putting it in any other slot gives it the bra.

It felt good until I realized I would have to manually resize my scarf for chubby and thin and I have a feeling thats going to be a disaster. Also I have to add more mesh to the uniforms and basically do 10x more work than I was expecting.

Enabling the buttons is entirely a list file thing. Set a 0 to 1, which the google doc shows.
Making the submesh actually colorable is the material name thing, and you need the corresponding texture files in the outfit's p03 file.

Import them into SBU then add them into sviex. Try to copy them out of the sviex and the extrusion goes nuts. Not cool.

One of the best ways to work when making a full new outfit is to take 3 slots temporarily and make sure all the models themselves work before assembling them together with sviex. It's much easier to do now that we have AAU and sets.

The little extrusion works as long as it isnt getting loaded from the sviex. It shows up fine in the normal body type because thats the normal mesh but when I has to morph from the sviex it gets all smashed up.

If it already exists then you don't have to change its bone weights at all unless you changed them for normal. Whatever you do to normal's mesh, you have to do the same thing to fat's and thin's after exporting those versions of the mesh.

Basically what I did for the 3 different weights was take a section of the existing mesh, duplicated it, moved it up, sub divided it a couple times and connected the vertices to make it a part of the whole mesh. Even though all 3 of the uniforms have the same vertex count the extrusion is not exactly the same between all of them so I assume its just not happy when the sviex tries to morph it out.

This part in particular can get very hairy, seeing as "vert count" also includes giving each vert a specific ID number. All my mesh edits were restricted to movement of existing verts, never addition or subtraction of them. Have you tried recalculating normals?

Yeah multiple times. Im also getting the "If you zoom out the material looks really fucked up" glitch that I was getting before that required a recalculate but it doesn't seem to do anything. Vert ID numbers sounds like it might be the culprit. I need to figure out how to see which has what number

That's not a bad idea. I think what I would do is make a copy of the mesh, delete everything that is not that little piece of fabric, then use this now-heavily-cropped mesh as a body03 (or whatever's next in line) mesh. As long as you do the cropping cleanly to a vert that you can repeat in each mesh size, this will give you a very tiny piece that should even still be skinned. Then blow it up and you might very well be done.

Once you get the "TOGETHER FOREVER" status it never goes away, right? I've been testing around and if you raise love it goes back to the regular statuses but after a bit of time they go back to wanting to kill

Unlike the problem I had before where I imported a mesh, it looked fine in the render but when I get into the game its misaligned, I now have a problem where I have a mesh that looks fine in blender but when imported into SB3U its misaligned (the scarf submeshes line up with the normal body scarf while the clasp is where it should be.)

The first problem I fixed by updating sviex but adding SVI data for this misaligned mesh doesnt make it good. This one is a bone problem?

I prefer to remember this general as it used to be.. not the abomination it has become.

I don't follow what the problem is now, but when you add svis from a mesh, you'd adding what you see. You're never going to see something different just by adding svis from a mesh you're already looking at - you'd have to have deleted a conflict first.

The problem now is while everything looks normal when assembled in blender (uniform, collar, ribbon, scarf), when imported into SB3U it is wrong. If I lay the imported fat ribbon mesh over the normal mesh they line up except for the clasp which is where it should be. If I overlay the fat ribbon with the normal ribbon in blender you can clearly tell how its supposed to look. So for some reason when importing the fat ribbon it defaults to the normal one

not him and I'm speaking from the Maya experience but when you scale, move, rotate the mesh it doesn't actually modify the vertices positions but adds a separate transformation layer. So when you export the mesh SB3U ignores this layer. To work around it you have to "freeze" the transformation which effectively bakes the changes in to the vertices positions and sets the Translation and Rotation to 0 and Scale to 1. You might have to do something similar.
