I like how my complain started about a guy bitching when I asked him whether or not he has a glyph and it somehow got derailed into something completely unrelated about priests, aggro, DPS, and parse.

Spring attack is 30% of your dps, chain everything you can into that skill always. Watch videos of other lancers to get an idea of what can and can't be blocked. Seriously, watching other people play will help a lot. If your ping's high, consider trying attack speed on your top roll because it might help the class flow better. If your ping's low (like below 50), go for that enrage roll instead because you won't really need the speed and the extra damage is great shit. Some people will tell you to go for enrage rolls regardless of your ping and it's really up to you, but I feel sluggish as fuck with it and my ping's ~70.

Beyond that just read the essentialmana guide. But always keep in mind, chain into spring attack. Use your buffs like adrenaline rush and guardian shout when the boss's hp bar is glowing red (this means it's enraged) and try to start boss fights by enraging and buffing at the start. If you're unwilling to do this because of certain boss mechanics, TELL YOUR TEAM BEFORE GOING IN so they don't assume you're going to buff and pop their cooldowns only to get nothing. Seriously, fuck non-communicative tanks. Ask people if they're ready before you go in, and tell people what you plan to do at the start, and then DO IT, and don't fucking use your a.rush/gshout when the boss isn't enraged because that's a waste. If you do just that much, people will like you a lot since you'll be better than like 80% of tanks in this shitty game.

He said that he was healing while you were casting TN, so that's why he wasn't using it. There's no point in having two priests cast TN at the same time, the debuff doesn't stack and the cooldown is low enough for one person to take care of it.

Enrages are roughly 40 seconds in between, and last 30 seconds. This changes depending on how good your dps is, higher the dps the shorter the time in between cycles. You try your best to make sure ar/gs line up with as much of the enrage cycle as you can. Dont enrage the boss if it takes under 15 seconds to push it to to 90% and enrage it. Instead enrage it after its enrage cycle is over, during a moveset that you can burn it hard in. And then the next enrage cycle will come up immediately after.

Of course some bosses are perma enraged, then you just sync it up with your dps's burn skills.
