Quite a few books have already appeared on Alicebooks and there's several that will be available in some form later on (a Flowey/Frisk will be released online, AtAt's plushies etc are set to be released some time in a couple months etc).

I haven't heard anything regarding that, but to be fair, I think they were also just guessing this time. Now that they have an estimate of how many people would like to attend, maybe they'll prepare accordingly? Or at least that's what I hope for.

I joined about a year ago and while the posting has slowed down, the fandom in general is still going strong. Judging by the fact that its popularity has been enough for a fan event in Korea and Japan (even though the official Japanese version isn't even out yet) I'd say it'll stick around for a while long.

And thanks! Any doujin would be greatly appreciate, I'm not even that hung up on the porn, I'd just like for as many doujins to be preserved as possible, since some of them are pretty entertaining. There's been a couple, but I can't recall a lot of names. Storyshift doesn't really count since it's got a different story. Underline had a pretty awful one ("Asriel we must destroy the humans!" "No Chara, that's bad!" "Okay, let's not then."--among other things)

Generally whenever someone seriously tries to pin the blame on Asriel and/or defend Chara with "well they specifically never killed anyone but themselves", you can tell you're in for something bad.

Odd, I usually see a lot more stuff address Flowey being a little shit before-during-after the game, rarely does he get to be completely blameless, self-loathing and such are pretty much staples of any post-TP depiction.

The only one I can recall is the one where Flowey argues how awful Asgore is for having killed kids and completely ignoring how he probably killed/tortured Asgore, but that comic was made by a floweykin who worships daddy Sans, so not much to expect there.

Unless you count individual artworks, but having to address that in every artwork would be like having Asgore stab children on every drawing.

It started out well, that's the worst thing. Originally it was a morose, but hopeful exploration of Flowey's life topside. Unfortunately, at some point back a few months, the artist went into a slightly darker storyline and while it could have been worse, it almost immediately devolved into torture porn.

Things Flowey did wrong get getting retconned into the story(593 sextillion resets, killing Frisk 80 times every week since on the surface etc), none of which have previously even been alluded to. Sans adopted a persona more reminiscent of Jigsaw and while the comic still supposedly had Flowey as a protagonist, the artist made it clear that Sans was in the right.

The worse thing is that the artists clearly doesn't think of the stuff they write now, so new things keep getting added with some really stupidly dark implications. A quick example: at one point after the torture session, Flowey receives a plush from the askers(they can interact with the world; just roll with it). When prompted to name the plush, Flowey is left confused that he is allowed to have something AND name it without Frisk's prior permission, very much implying that aside from his plot, he has no earthly possessions and has been condition into asking Frisk for pre-approval for everything, which just makes Frisk appear abusive, if anything.

Basically: started out well, but devolved into torture and vore fetish.

The worst thing is that it's not even an exaggeration. Even though the comic tries to push that Flowey caused way too much damage (he erased Gaster as well), it does so in such stupid ways that it's either hard to believe, or clearly to justify the punishments inflicted on him.

Even this, considering how completely bewildered he is, it almost looks like the "80 kills per week" is just him trying desperately to escape an abusive household. This is supposed to be a Flowey redemption story and yet everything so far has only been pushing him closer and closer to an assisted suicide. The other possibility is that the artist is trying to push the idea that enough abuse can 'fix' people, but this also gets really sour because in this story, Flowey is canonically 8 years old.

Yeah today will probably be a bad one, life's finally gotten a bit too hard for a certain tough old guy.
