Outfits and gliders are pretty trash for long term profit. Once you get a few, there is no reason to buy more, since there is no mix and match. It's one of the many reasons profit is tanking.

Even if Ventari gets alacrity, nothing will change. Chronos will still be taken, and druids will still be the optimal healers because of their unique damage buffs. Als idk why they would give thief more DPS. If these are the only significant changes, we have another crap balance patch. Just about what the community expected.

With such a small amount of balance patches, you would expect most of the abilities and traits to be looked at in every balance pass, but this is Anet.

Then you make someone like drosera leading. Who's only good at cliquefagging and not being very good at the game as well as erping. People want to be close to the guild leader for status, and since they don't need to be good at the game they will mimic what would get them close. Which is cliquefagging and erping for recognition

That's a really good point. HOPE 2.0 officers were fucking good at the game, to the point that they were almost annoying in /gw2g/ with the amount of game discussion that went on. If there was a dungeon/WvW/PvP group up with a couple officers/leaders, you knew it was going to be a smooth/fun run (and educational if there was even one person that didn't know the content).

I left HOPE before the DORF stuff happened, so I can't comment directly on that. However HOPE 2.0 wasn't *just* Ruseman. I'd guess that Meyer and Rezardi weren't around when this story about Ruseman inviting dramamongers into the guild happened. Meyer especially was a real solid sober second thought and a great check on autism in the guild, I remember him being the guy who laid down permaban rules for particular autismic psychos, and he's opinion was always well respected by everyone. I think he was a guy with a lot of experience with MMO guilds or something, he seemed to be like the guild's wise old sage or something.

Again I can't speak for how Ruseman acted during the DORF stuff, but *as a team* the HOPE 2.0 leadership was very solid and I honestly think they were the best MMO guild leadership I've seen first hand.

Fuck. I never even bothered to start the crafting system in this game, since I was just gonna grind ranked PvP for rewards and get my ascended gear that way. How long does it take to get to craft level 500? How much gold is it gonna take? Is it worth it to use the crafting to level an alt, or would it get done faster on a level 80? I checked the link in the OP, but it only goes up to level 400 and from what I can tell in-game I still need to get 100 more levels after that
