Sidearms are definitely the dominant secondary now because whenever you die you'll lose all ammo you were carrying. It's not too bad, it got rid of most shotgun users and snipers. But it's probably going to get old fast, and most people just run around for an entire match with the sidearm out.

Its its a multiplayer game.
We might get a "your my best friend" arc so that they can kill them at some point to try to make us sad though. (Cayde is probably going to get killed off or lost in space if d2 is a full wipe. I hope not though.)

They wouldn't drop that because the T rating brings in too many sales, and it makes the game more unique. Destiny, at its core, though, is completely empty. I should say, I'm not the same guy, but Destiny has a lot of mystical elemnts and kind of a """sci-fi""" dark tower vibe.

I think the Anon is concerned that they may completely eliminate the fringe concepts (Gods living in pocket dimensions housed in large spaceships, time traveling omniversal robots become simple time traveling experiments gone awry).
Take Halo, it's tropey as fuck, but it's REALLY good at exploiting and pursuing those milsci-fi concepts. Imagine if they made Halo super casual and the Master Chief and Cortana were actually the culmination of millennia of careful planning by ancient alien bookworms...

The queen is dead.
But the game has ghosts who can bring back the dead and turn them into guardians in the process.
Guardians however have no memory of their past lives and are essentially entirely different people.

Even if the queen comes back a guardian, she won't be the queen anymore.

Unless they do in fact try to tell us that the super blast that destroyed the entire Awoken fleet and created a hole bigger than australia in saturn's ring and hit the queen's ship full on front somehow magically failed to vaporize her. Which is to say it would be silly writing by any standard.
