My 4* Abel has been completely destroying reds so far. Brave lance + Swordbreaker means that even with like 20 Speed he gets 4 attacks on sword users. You get like 15-20 x4 damage on every maxed out Lyn/Lucina/Marth/Ryoma, insta-killing them.

That's why the other offensive skills (Glacies, Luna) are better, because they directly reduce enemy defense or are additive to damage dealt.

One is technically limited only by your unit's movement, which is a fairly decent number, while the other is limited by how many blocks you can physically break with that unit once you hit the wall, which is only a couple. How many teams do you have, /feg/?

I only have my Tharja, Sharena, Hector, Olivia team (non-whalefag here) and 82 orbs which should be about 100+ after I complete the rest of the Lunatic story missions. The units on my wishlist are Nino, Effie, Linde, Eirika, Merric, Kagerou, Minerva, and FCorrin. I'm also looking forward to them adding Ike, Lute, Haar, Nephenee, Titiana, and hopefully Rebecca. Everyone but Olivia is already maxed out at 5* level 40, and I only upgraded my castle twice (yes it has that hideous red carpet).

What should I even do now? My only Arena mission left is the win 80 matches thing which I'm half-way through already. The last few Lunatic missions costs a shit load of stamina (only 3 missions every full charge), and I have little motivation to blow Dueling Crests since I already maxed out my Arena score with only one bonus unit. I wanted to get the extra Stamina Potion and Dueling Crest but I have neither a dagger nor calvary unit on my team, and most of them are shitters who require grinding for levels which means I will waste orbs. I want this month to end already for the next events to come.

the gamewith calculator says Julia should have a stat total (Rating) of 166 at 40

mine has 164. I suspect this is factoring in Res+3 which I'm already doing for mine, so if for some reason it's not, that means mine is 5 below that at a measly 161

Is Julia normally 166 or is the calculator just wrong? I've heard about random stat variation but -2 is beyond even that

Hector is pretty much the strongest Lord, so he will be fine playing catch-up. My Lyn isn't bad but she'd really like a ranged option as well. Aside from the two Sword lords and Matthew I don't use any other Sword units. Guy is just Lyn with the crit bonus but even worse Str while Raven has pretty underwhelming Def for a Merc. Kent is just boring and inferior to both Sain and Lowen who are better off using Lances anyways.
