By many I meant multiple similar effect CEs so you have a large choice. The point where you have so many a lot of them are kind of useless. That's when you start merging for a bit more bonus. Then again, you probably won't ever use black grail right now anyway, let alone two, as it's probably one of the worst 5* CEs for a beginner. It's only useful for boss 1 shot specific lineups.

Nero was average. There aren't any glaring flaws in her character or the way she's portrayed like in Septem or Extella. I do think Nameless and Tamamo shine more than her in Extra but on her own, her story is not bad.

Also Extra's "rock paper scissors" is not as terrible as people make it out to be. Sure it isn't a fast-paced action game but the mini strategizing you had to do against the foe's attacks was pretty fun in my opinion.
