But 70% of people on Elysium are still levelling. And there's gonna be a long ass time until BWL drops.

Depends on which addons you're talking about. In the WTF/Account folder, you'll see subfolders with your account names, if you copy one and rename it to the other account name, and rename subfolders with character names that are inside them, you should be ok for everything except some addons that specifically save your server/character/etc. name in their .lua files. Do the thing I said first, and then see which addons will be left (I had only 2-3 that did that, I kind of think it was Necrosis and ItemRack/TrinketMenu, maybe Luna and DAB too, not sure).

There are still chinks on Anathema. And there are still bots.

It's not like there are thousands of bots and chinks on Elysium, but none on Anathema. All servers have chinks and bots.

Fact of the matter is that Elysium has more active non-chink, non-bot players.

And while population isn't everything, it is a lot. Double the population means double the amount of guilds you can join, double the amount of WPVP, double the amount of people in BGs, half the wait time to find a group. Not to mention the "MMO" feeling of seeing a shit ton of people all the time.

Nost was at its best when there were 12k players online. It was an absolute lagfest, but it captured the MMO feeling the best.

I went out to Desolace earlier to do some WPVP outside Maraudon and I was sitting there for twenty minutes before a group would show up. I bet Elysium doesnt have that problem.

Everyone is repeating the initial numbers even though they were raised to 5k or more depending on the server population (not all realms had the same cap, hardware and caps were adjusted according to how popular/populated they were). I can get them all to center on me with a demoralizing shout but they then go straight for the healer. If I tab through all of them the marked one ends up losing aggro.

I'm level 40 mage, just bought my mount and have about 15 gold, even though I've been a jew these last few levels and haven't upgraded many spells.
