I realize it would stretch the suspension of disbelief just a little bit if your children actually aged to adulthood within any reasonable in-game time span, even considering your spouse's nine months only last a few in-game weeks. I did this the other day with a scene from EiF 2. you need all the brfs and textures with the scenes/interiors/props (and load them in the module ini) then you need to add the new props to module_scene_props, then you replace the SceneObj files of the old scene with the files of the new scene, add those scenes to module_scenes where you want those scenes to appear (with the terrain codes from the mod you're taking the scene from). this doesn't take into account the particles/particle_triggers that will almost certainly be fucked up as you can see here >>168547953

Depends. If it's a rich town it won't pay as much or might have more supply of whatever you're making, but if its a poor town, while your products are worth more, the raw materials cost more. I'd say in general wealthier towns are better for enterprises as they are a long-term thing, but opportunity purchases can be better in poor or war-ravaged areas.

It's okay to go with beginner recruiting and leveling, since otherwise you have to suck every dick in the North Sea to be allowed to recruit from certain villages, and since troops need a lot of exp to level up, so you'll be stuck with T2 troops while everyone else has T4-T5.

If you go with beginner budget (reduces troop wages by 40%, meaning you can field more end game troops (since like the final Norse Sword troop is over 1000 peningas or something), just don't tell anyone.

Shield bash is gay. Don't bother with it.

Skill penalties and stamina make the game more fair for everyone.

Dorested is great for trading. They love wool and they sell cheap wine and jewelry. However, since you're doing story mode, you won't be able to take advantage of this for long.

One of the missions in the story mode gives you the option to attack a monastery since you need to grab a book from there (though there are other, peaceful options).

If you want to be a pagan shit raiding monasteries and attack ports, you can do that, but story mode prevents you from joining/making your own faction until a certain point, where you'll be given the choice between supporting a certain Saxon kingdom and the Danes.

And you should put on shit like wounds, stamina, damageable equipment, blood lost, stat penalty. Also, of course, you should edit the game to be more difficult. Faster combat speed, harder campaign and combat AI. Full damage to you and allies. All that good shit.

Paid mods are a terrible idea still.And I don't see why putting modders in their place is of any value to me. If they are going to be a cunt, then so be it, at least I didn't have to pay for their cuntiness.

the trick to VC is learning you can become rich with out ever leaving town by simply hiring boats to take you from one city to another and trading. Do this while gathering companions and buying the best gear and you can be fully equipped with out fighting a single battle.

You just do a big circle up the east coast of england and scotland, up to scandinavia, then down back to docinga. Hit every port city on the way and by the time you complete one circle the merchants have restocked. I cant remember which trade goods to buy but it should be obvious
