I can't fucking decide if I want this game. On one hand, it looks like it could be really fun and give lots of replayability, and I love the factions and classes. On the other hand, it's Ubisoft, a $60 game with a $40 season pass, and microtransactions out the ass. It seems almost like you're expected to pay a ton more money for shit if you use more than one or two characters. It just seems to fucking ridiculous, like if I'm paying $100 for the full game, why do I need to either no life it or spend money to get shit? Why are more people not annoyed about this? My friends' attitude is basically just "that's just the way things are now" like they don't give a shit. But it seriously looks like a fucking blast to play. I'm so conflicted.

99% of which gives you cosmetics. The only thing of value in the season pass is being able to play new characters a week early. The rest of us can earn them in game. You don't even have to pay to recruit characters to play as them. Microtransactions are just for steel which allows you to buy emotes and shit that has no bearing on 1v1s or 2v2s. There's nothing you can buy that you can't unlock just by playing the game either.

Depends on the class again, various classes have various amounts of stamina, stamina regen, and stamina costs. A PK can spam a lot more than a lawbringer for example

you can zone cancel and mixup with light attacks for pokes and sidestep heavy to punish and light/heavy cancel into stab etc. to fuck with peoples heads

need a really good foot game and watch your distance from opponent constantly and try to bait out attacks

changing the timing of how quick you do light attacks works well too against defensive players

some (most, really) unblockables are not parryable, you have to dodge them. the fast ones are tricky but they generally don't get much off of them

you can't (not 100% sure) tag people with a heavy after a parry. you can immediately guardbreak most characters afterwards though, and it isn't techable

I cant tell what their attacks are going to be until right as they hit me and their guard break somehow cancels out my guard break and they get free damage on me.

Lots of emblem stuff. Hard will give you an engraving and ornament, realistic will give an engraving. Doing it on realistic will unlock everything below too.

Also, I'd just look up a guide for breakables and observables locations, as they give some nice emblems as well for getting them all each mission. Going for everything on realistic will make the campaign take about 8 hours to get through.

You get a heal feat early on, and a couple missions in you get unblockable. Use both those feats to cheese the shit out of the campaign on realistic.

I swear I've watched players arms teleport into direction to block an attack and seen mine in position but the other players attack just phase through my block.

How do people change direction so rapidly when they attack?
I've only really stuck to Warden so I'm not experienced with anyone else but it seems like some characters can switch stance rapidly.
Just had a duel against a Valkyrie and the speed the guy was switching stances and attacking was insane.

Still fucked him with Guardbreak and charge and he didn't know how to parry but the first two rounds he kicked my shit in with the speed.
