Can someone explain the right way to level with levequests? I'm trying to quickly level ARM now at lv23, but it's very slow since I've been mining all my ore, cutting and milling all my logs, and relying on shops for everything else. I've tried a few, but with the runaround I have to do it hasn't really been worth it, not to mention how the gil reward doesn't really even cover the extra materials, let alone any compensation for all the iron and lumber and shit I harvested myself.

Is there a certain leve I should be repeating? Gathering the materials for 20 shields, then just running between quest giver and recipient turning them in?

Help me out here folks. I've been playing for less than a week now, and I'm level 45 on my Dragoon. I'm enjoying the class so far, rotations feel comfy and all is going well. However, I decided to look up information on how to play Dragoon to it's fullest, and I've gotten mixed information/opinions from websites, friends and random people. Some say that Fracture is a waste of a GCD. Apparently, a while before I started the skill got nerfed/tweaked and is now the worst DoT in the game, correct me if I'm wrong. And to be honest, it IS pretty lacking in terms of damage output. Lancer/Dragoon already has good innate DoT skills. I also heard that the ability generates more aggro because it's a tank skill, albeit the amount of enmity generated won't affect a Dragoon negatively in dungeons. It's basically a shitstorm from what I've heard from my friends, how half of the Dragoons are arguing that Fracture is shit and the others still love it. But what I really wanna know is what a proper Dragoon rotation and skillset should look like WITHOUT fracture, what my options are and whether or not you guys think I should drop fracture entirely.

As a PLD main I can confirm I'm pretty much a lazy shitter who knows I could be doing better as DRK but can't be assed to learn to play it proper. PLD is legitimately very boring for anything outside of pvp and then it's fun because you get to be a huge dink with stuns.

I spent 90~ish leves the other day to get like 12 vilekin, and I'm just using them to level BTN now. I guess I could farm blue gatherer's scrips, but crafters are kind of out of the question until I get BTN to 50+. It's such a minor DPS lose for WAR to do Eye/Path combos in place of BB, and it's more raid DPS to let the DRK/PLD not have to do enmity combos.

If you need to add more weight to your argument, remind him that critical hits are A Thing and that a random crit Butcher's Block is going to skyrocket his aggro regardless of what tank you're running. If he's going to insist on Butcher's Blocks, then he needs to at least watch the aggro table and know when to back off a little. It takes two mana combos to get a Dark Side. You should always have enough mana to activate Grit for a Tank Buster, at the same time you should always have enough mana for a DS Carve & Spit.
You have to time Blood Price to make sure you can use a DS Soul Eater every other rotation without going below 25% for the Grit pop.

Just because something isn't hard for you, doesn't mean it isn't something the regular playerbase has to deal with instead of just doing your rotations without any resource worry as a PLD.

If you haven't yet, get all your crafting classes to level 15 just by spamming the crafting log. Aka craft everything you have available once so you get that exp bonus.
Once you do that get the best gear you can afford for that level and make sure it's HQ.
Since it's a pain in the ass to HQ stuff at low level, try to abuse HQ mats and HQ from the lowest to highest, like get HQ cotton to make HQ yarns to make HQ fabric. You can bypass all of this by asking someone to make you levekits.

About leves, triple leves always give the best exp but at the same time you'll use more items per leve. If you don't want to craft as much you can do single leves but keep in mind you'll need more leves to get all crafts 60'd. Don't forget you only get +3 leve allowances ever 12 hours.
