I was hyped until I saw that it was a ""faithful"" remake. This is extremely concerning.

The maps are exactly the same as they were in Gaiden, and before you say that's a good thing, Awakening's maps used to be compared to Gaiden's maps all the time back during its release.

Beyond that this also means that other genuine quality of life features introduced in Awakening and Fates (not just marriage/kids/petting/waifushit, though some are bound to be disappointed by the exclusion), will be gutted too, just to stay faithful. Don't even get me started on no weapon triangle.

Some grandpas may praise this as "a step in the right direction" or "a redemption of FE", but I think it's worrying. We really need more info about this pronto.

Just beat Awakening, my first FE on normal. I'm looking at playing Conquest before I revisit Awakening's harder difficulties. Seeing as I've cleared Awakening on normal, should I play conquest on normal or hard? I am aware that Conquest is harder than Awakening and Birthright but I'm not sure just how much harder it is.

Lastly I'm not sure how paralogues work. Is is realistic for you to unlock all paralogues in a playthrough without grinding supprt? Or do you marry two specific characters together in order to unlock the paralogue and obtain the unit you want?

I already own Conquest though. I guess I should have played Awakening on Hard, I knew it was easier than other games but not to that degree. I think I'll play Conquest on normal then.
