Pretty much anything weird or niche I avoid buying, its not worth the awkwardness, judging and unnecessary worry anon. There's a decent amount of OC from the last thread we could talk about. ShadowBon's new story or the new Benis drawing, for instance. I really liked the former, making a schizoid Purple turned out really well for that story. Whenever people complain about a "lack of OCfags" it kind of bugs me, since there's plenty of active OCfags at any given time, people just don't talk about them.

True, this place did have a much higher output at one time, but its natural that there is not much now. This thread has been here for more than 2 years. And while we have some OCFags left, and even a few new or at the very least newer ones, people also have lifes to live.

Another contributing factor to the apparent lack of OC fag argument is that usually only the same ones get talked about. It makes the place seam like it has had not too many OCFags when only about 10 (a rather generous number) get discussed, talked about, or even mentioned anymore.

That and some people will consider any OC that they don't like as not OC.

As far as ShadowBon's Story, I do like the idea of Purple Guy that he did, and Benis' drawing was really good too.

I do agree that there are some OCFags that get kinda left in the dirt, but it also boils down to who people consider as OCFags or not.

Golden Freddy's one of this franchise's Four Horsemen, since he's like everything wrong with the series' progression condensed into a single character.

I think it's also that while a lot of OCfags haven't 'left', they clearly have split interests, there aren't as many dedicated 'solely' to the thread any more. The only ones that really come to mind is Mizu and Crisis that seem to be purely invested in FNAF. And even Crisis has been hinting at wanting to take his 2087 AU in an original direction. Without people obsessively working towards the thread, there's not enough output to warrant big discussions a lot of the time. Those OCfags may not dislike FNAF, but a lot have started going back to their other interests or finding new ones.

Nightmarionne is the only good design from FNAF 4 imo. Scott's best work is when he's not trying to design the robots to fit into one theme, they're less homogenized like that.

The sound work by itself is done pretty well, part of the reason why things are just not as effective is because we have gotten use to similar things in the previous games. That's why in SL when voices were added, it worked so well because it was new.
Think like how if you see enough action movies, future ones are just not as impressive.

The Toys were pretty unremarkable since they were just cleaner redesigns of the FNAF 1 cast. They didn't really have any spookiness or subtleties the way the FNAF 1 cast did, and the game is bloated so they don't get the proper time to shine. Nor do any robots in 2, really. I dig the casual use of Ballora as a coat rack and the introspection on what made her unsettling in Purple Man's eyes. The losing his appetite was a nice touch of showing how once he fixated on her the last obsession, in this case the pizza, no longer mattered. Story's ending was a disturbing reveal for how the mess was mostly left to the imagination and that he was fine eating with company.
