How does amplify even work? Does it still consume the upgrade costs/mats that it normally would or does it just take gold?

Amplification costs 30,000 gold a pop
Each time you hit AMPLIFY, it can amplify between 1-5 slots (maybe 0 slots is possible idk). It rerolls each slot each time, so it's a complete fresh roll each time you smash dat mf amplify button. But the neat thing is, once a slot gets amplified, it'll stay amplified even if you switch the uru out. So technically when you amplify, you're amplifying the slot itself, in order to do that in the first place you need all slots fill with uru.

So you can go put all 1* uru fodder in 5 slots, start amplifying and settle for x4 amplification, then you go and slot in your good urus in the amplified slots. Like say I got x4 amplification, I'd put the 2 def pen uru in 2 amplified slots, 2 attack urus in the other 2 amplified slots and then HP in the last one since I'm not fussed if that's amplified or not

Dunno what's the best way to maximise uru tho, I'm assuming def pen is priority if you're not hitting cap. Also not sure how far to take my urus, I think 4* seems like a safe balance

Nah going from 1* to 2*, etc, is done separately and that's called enhancing. You then slot uru and then amplify it which is more like boosting the slot and whatever uru you equip in that slot.
Failure rate when enhancing sucks ass though, but at least you don't lose both uru upon failure, only one of the two.

Use the 3*, as soon as the you the shield logo thing active, switch to the 1*, as soon as the shield expires you either go on to or cancel into the 2*(it looks like you can cancel out at any point during the 1*).
Then if it's a 1v1 or you succesfully CC'd all enemies use the 5* then the 6*.
But if it's multiple enemies or the enemy is immune to CC then just go straight to the 6*.

And repeat.

Not really. You don't tend to the student's needs and there not really much point in sending them off to do activities unless you want to see them or want to make some sort of story yourself. You only need to send usually three students at a time to do actions if it's listed on the bulletin board, which will give you gold and certain items you'll need to rank the students up and continue their special storylines and get more actions for them. Most actions are generic but every student has at least 3 unique one, example Satana here chases Tony around the quad trying to burn him and it's explained that he kinda like it. The writing can be pretty funny and the game in general is, like one of Jane FosThor's action is to do the hammer time dance. They're also working on a feature to send two student off to raise their friendship, but as they keep adding more characters we're not sure if it'll come with unique dialogue

Don't know if she'll be a true meme (definitely not in pvp modes), but I'm hopeful.

For a character that is locked at T1, and has no uni, and has a single isntant iframe as far as damage evasion goes; my kamala is already pretty unkillable and does respectable damage. Uni and T2 possibilities could absolutely make her a monster. Just look what MK's T2 (and uni to a lesser extent) did for him.

Surprised by BB uniform, he's a bit "old" and should have come some time ago, I thought they only pushed new shit.
