Ive been trying out some of the mutant model replacements for CoC any recommendations? I changed the controllers to what i believe is a model ripped from metro, pretty good, definitely scarier than a regular controller. I got a dog mod that changed the dogs into 3 new models, the zombie dogs look great but i dont like how one of the models looks like a healthy german shepard, i always feel bad shooting those. The boar mod is pretty good and they look a lot better but has no death animation, so in places like the merc base that get spammed with mutant attacks you always shit yourself over corpses thinking theyre alive. is there any decent bloodsucker or izlom/fracture replacements?

I saw somebody ripped the nosalis or something. Looks decent, good texture work anyway. Not sure if it would fit with Stalker. All of the aftermarket mutants really suck. I'd love to put the Tark in, but it's soooo small. It's a fucking horse, it should be at least as tall as the player.

When I run the batch file I'm getting messages about my system not being able to find the Perl script. Alright, then I just changed directories to the one with the Perl file since apparently Windows was looking for it in system32, but I'm getting something about not being able to open files.

I'm at my wit's end and I don't even know if I somehow fucked up my installation of ActivePerl or anything. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, first time I loaded a quick save I had made at the beginning of the emission and took shelter, but the emission just kept on going, it never ended. Taking those emission pills seems to work, as in it gives me the completed mission for seeking shelter during a blowout. But I don't want to have to buy those pills every time. I guess I can just spawn them.

I haven't tested this issue much yet. I'll play around in the game a bit to see if I can get this sorted out.

This happened to me in X8 lab surface while clearing the building.
I rushed to the 5th I believe floor and waited on the stairs.

5 minutes later there was zombie crowd under the stair shooting at me through the concrete thanks to wall hacks.
Took 4 mil grade grenades to clear them and some hide and seek with monolith.
There was pile of bodies on a very small space but not before i ran like that badger to safety.

Adds ppsh and some other guns like the stg44 and famas, changes enemies carrying weapons they shouldn't have (like a bandit rookie carrying L85's), increases prevalence of older AK models among loners and bandits, changes the damage rounds do a little bit overall, adds some attachments, gives you inaccurate zombies, tent mod, and traders buying weapons at 40%.

Install this after Ao3 and outfit, and then install adjusted zoom and Warfighter.

But don't go on your own or even with a group until you've been on a tour once. There's still tons of areas that are heavily radioactive. Also, the famas might have fucked up textures in your inventory but it's a quick fix. The xm8 does so as well maybe. The svt and avt have different damage stats but they're the same in reality. You could allow the famas to take the m203 as well.

It would be prudent to also get that AO mod that allows you to upgrade every weapon for that sweet Nugget.

metro 2033 redux kinda ruins the atmosphere from the original version. everything looks brighter and clean. the only thing i like about the redux is the "fixed" stealth. "fixed" because they fixed the stealth from the first game (get detected and the enemies will know were you are 100% of the time and you can't relocate) but they made it too easy and "modernized". Press F to kill. still great games though.

Sorry for being late, but it's dynamic main quests for COC that creates a main question and ultimate goal for any faction you pick in the game.

It was from pre story mode but is far more fleshed out. Alternatively you can also now join factions whenever so long as they're not hostile.

The side quests are more fleshed out and you can't take one after the other immediately, and instead have to wait a bit.

The best one is military.

Misery not fun?

If you play the entire game in less than 2 years then you are missing so much. Did you realize in Misery that each level changes after you open up a new areas? The Dogs at the sawmill are replaced by Pseudodogs. The Bandits to the east of them are replaced by Bandits. Before Jupiter you have Modders in the ranger station near skadovsk. After that they are replaced by a Bear cave nearby. Just because you open an area and see what's there does not mean that it remains that way through out the whole game. Additionally you are most likely not staying around to activate millions of stashes with the same unique items.

Game time compared to neet time

01 minute = 06 seconds, 10 minutes = 60 seconds, 60 minutes ( 1 hour ) = 06 minutes

05 hours = 30 minutes, 10 hours = 1 hour, 12 hours = 1 hour 12 minutes, 24 ( 1 Sun and Moon cycle ) = 2 hours 24 minutes.

48 hours ( 2 Sun and Moon cycles ) = 4 hours 48 minutes, 72 hours ( 3 Sun and Moon cycles ) = 7 hours 12 minutes, 240 hours ( 10 Sun and Moon cycles ) = 24 hours, 720 hours ( 30 Sun and Moon cycles ) = 72 hours,


I usually spend 8640 hours ( 10 years ) in Zaton before leaving it for the first time to go to Jupiter in Misery. A longer Game is where the A-Life truly becomes alive, everything is open ended. I haven't gone to Pripyat yet.

I'm kind of trying to do that by changing how many points dynamic faction relations can add at one time and reducing the chance of cease-fires/reset to neutral after getting too friendly.

The problem is that dynamic faction relations changes when any NPC dies. I'm guessing that somehow offline Warfare combat is triggering that callback because your relations are constantly changing. By default, dynamic relations can add or remove around 200 points and has a %50 of a relationship reset when you hit +/- 5000 per call.

It does look like there's provisions in the script for changing individual squads' goodwill towards you by helping them in fights and stuff, but I don't know if any of that actually works.

I want to try it out with 1.0 spawn but instead of using the mounted machinegun, an npc will just stand behind it with his arms crossed. For your purposes, this could basically destroy rostok and fill it full of mutants.

It was really eerie at times seeing mutant checkpoints with fresh bodies being the only thing marking that it was once controlled by humans.

For those playing JP2 for the first time, keep checking the prices on ammo. When the game progresses the traders start offering better deals and actually sell useful ammo so you dont have to manage your spenditure like in Misery.

One of the things i did when starting JP2 again was getting the Tokarev (TT-33) from Sidrovich right at the start. It kills bandits in one shot and can even kill mutants up to weak bloodsuckers.
Ammo is cheap atleast from sidrovich, 1k for 30 bullets right from the start when both the 9mms are fucking expensive 2k for 20 rounds jeebus for the cheap shit. After doing some story missions the prices go down for 9mm to around 600 for cheapest, but still only 20 bullets, when you can also buy the armor piercing ones for Tokarev for 1,1k and 30 bullets.
You can also do a mission for Wolf to get a Broomhandle that fires the Tokarevs ammo and has better capacity but i would rather get the Tokarev before dealing with the bandits. Another thing is that you can get an SMG with the same ammo in agroprom, if you can deal witht the suprise buttsecks.

Save buckshots, they are expensive and hard to get once you use up the ones you get from missions. Barter is finite source too. Also get the black mossberg shotgun from bandits as it does high damage and has good durability.

You can buy 7.62x54r boxed ammo for fairly cheap atleast from bartender and adrenalin. 100 rounds for 15k, its the best sniper ammo deal aside the Mauser ammo but since Mauser is somehow weaker than Mosin. You get a Mauser from killing bandit leader in garbage for sidrovich and Mosin for clearing out the bandits in agroprom underground, just make sure you get the mission before going to agroprom since its kinda bugged.

After getting to the point when you can go the the lab in dark valley, and getting adrenalin friendly. He starts selling 7.62x39 cheap as fuck. 120 bullets for 3k is a fucking steal when the Real AKs and SKS are one of the best weapons in the game imo.

A "cease-fire" is just a relationship reset. There's no duration.
If the factions don't do anything further to piss each other off, they'll continue to be neutral.

Hey guys Autumn Aurora 2.1 is breddy good, the mild orange blends in well with the Zone's dreary palette - it's nice.

Is there a way to have more English subtitles though? I don't mind the spoken language, but there's either no or less subtitles that appear near the bottom left of the screen when someone is speaking (except for proper conversations between Strelok and an NPC.)

On the other hand it could be that I just haven't played SoC in so long, I was playing Clear Sky a few weeks back and there's a lot of subtitles in that.

The second thing would be a fast CPU, IPC matters the most so you want a last gen Intel CPU Sky/Kaby Lake and want to overclock it as high as possible.

It seems to be a save state issue at times, a general crash at times, or the game just bugging the fuck out with mods and itself.

Looking it up did nothing more than have a dev say update your game from 1.4.12. I am running Ao3, Warfighter, outfit addon, 4am in pripyat, dynamic shit by doctor x, money from dead people, and the open scopes for ao3.

On the plus side, I fixed the stutter completely, and I'm wondering which is a better early game shotgun.

Not really. The test was intentional, to verify that the reactor could operate without overload or overheating while the diesel generators spun up to provide the auxiliary pumps electricity to work.

Russia is also producing sodium-cooled breeder reactors, and exports them. They seem to be the only ones gung-ho enough to do that:

We don't know for 100% because we can't get into #4 to investigate due to how hot it is. Probably never will. But what we can surmise is from what limited information we got from the scientists and engineers that escaped (and later died) plus footage and the actual effects of the disaster.

I really want to see more thorium bed reactors. They are way more efficient than coal/gas/biomatter, way more feasible than wind/solar/geothermal, and have a better fuel-life due to better recycling and reuse methods.

For me I use the Tark and Catfish standalones, and the Dogs/Burers/Crows/Rats. The rest aren't all that great, but the bloodsucker model gets an honorable mention. It can be fairly creepy even though it looks nothing like the original bloodsucker.

If I had the option between renewables or coal/natural, I'd pick renewables any day of the week. I would only swap to nuclear if there was enough public support for it, even then it's a pretty smart idea to have renewables in order to maintain some self-sufficiency.

Trying to see if a thing is possible. I want to randomize the stats of artifacts, then adjust their value accordingly. Using

on a Mincer Meat sets its Chem Burn to be non-existent. I think I could do this using the lootmoney script as a base. Basically, when you pick up an artifact, a script checks the artifacts properties. For each one that != 0, it adjusts it by a random amount up or down, and this adjusts its value. Of course, artifacts wouldn't be able to stack because they'd all have slightly different stats.
