Whenever I'm running syndicate missions I always equip loot radar to find the sigils or whatever, and break what crates I find in order to narrow down the signals so I don't accidentally backtrack.
Probably not the best way but I usually get a few ayatans per syndicate mission.

I heard nova was good so I got her

...what the hell am I doing? Her first two abilities seem usable, if a bit underwhelming (the orbiting things are slow to target enemies and will wait until the previous has exploded before sending out another, even if you're surrounded. Meanwhile that ball you send out is slow as fuck, even if it is controllable), and I don't see myself ever using the portals. Her ultimate seems really cool, particularly for defense missions where the enemies are really clustered, but so far I think I'd still rather just use my excalibur.

Granted I'm not doing end-game content (I pretty much just got past jupiter; a friend gave me nova prime), so maybe I've yet to realize what truly matters, but right now she just seems way to squishy for her ultimate that I don't have the mods to be able to spam.

How much damage efficiency does Critical Delay add on the Soma and the Grakata? I actually kind of enjoyed the way how the Soma shoots with CD on alone while leveling it but it is paired with Shred. Having no CD on and putting in more raw damage makes it feel so uncontrollable and wasteful.

Why is that? It's still a horrible system, no matter how you look at it. Being forced to play 2 rounds of some of the most cancerous gameplay warframe has to offer, just so you have a shot at getting the lowest drop-chance item from a boss - for a frame that you get all the pieces for, even before getting to Sedna.

It's tedious, slow and while I don't normally bitch about the grind since that is literally the gameplay of Warframe - arbitrarily blocking off progress behind a wall of tedium with a system that's supposed to 'mimic' PvP, yet all the NPCs have abilities that players can't do. It's simply boring. It probably worked better as an event, but as mandatory to get the 'base' frames? Eh. Not a fan.

You need to run the first arena 3 times to get access to the second arena, which you need to run 2 or 3 times, I forget. Then the last arena 2 times, to get access to the boss fight for the first time. Then you fight the level 85 arena 2 times again, to get another shot at Kela.

Not to mention the fact that a good 90% of people who get there for the first time isn't going to be nearly kitted out to deal with the level 85 arena since it throws bullshit your way most of the time. No matter how many people farm it out, if there's nobody there to carry you and you're not geared to deal with the 85 arena, then tough shit, you'll be stuck grinding the lower levels which can easily add up to another hour - depending on what enemies you get matched up against - before you get another shot at Kela.
