Make sure to get extra crystals from the missions. There's one for completing the tutorial and another for following them on twitter. You don't have to actually have follow them though. It'll open the page for it and give you crystals.

I retract my statement from yesterday, that JD/ND "isn't that much easier than Baha/Levi/Odin" - I suppose memory tricked me.

They should've just made it so they drop the lower level materials even on higher tiers, like BLO does. But I suppose this DOES literally drag out the game for 5 runs.

Aside from that, both JD and ND are extremely subpar and "never-used" tier contestants, unless MW ever brings more content like the Captive Golem quest, that limited certain difficulties to certain classed units. Completionists, myself included, will still bother with getting a ND to 100%SB, which is why we already cracked the current highest kill count in not even 24h. Guess MW didn't do the math how high this would go, when core players were likely to run this dungeon at least a dozen to a couple of dozen times.

Taking units along the Luck Daily and savescumming for good results (+2.1 to 2.4 per unit or so). Other than that, there's no real "fast" way to it, until the Lucia quest line returns. Grinding 34-10 or later chapters may provide okayish results over time, other than that I could only advise to take those units on board on Kino quests or Jade Dragon. Getting the last few Luck points for a unit always seems to be an uphill battle, which is why getting the points via their recode mats may always be more desirable.

One more thing, the Raramagi promo for Shoumetsu Toshi doesn't require you to do anything but have the game installed. I'm not sure if it's once per device, but if not, it could be used to reroll in the rainbow gacha after the tutorial gacha draw, because you get 10 stacks in mail.

shotguns were awesome when they were just released because they did extra damage based on the enemy's linked dummies and you could make a shotgun squad and AOE everything to death, but their damage got nerfed and now they're just alright. shotguns role is to tank through damage mitigation via their armor stat, which is a flat reduction to the enemy's damage. they can be better than SMGs when used against normal enemies but bosses will shred through them as end game bosses deal up to like 200+ damage and the max armor under ideal situations is like 40 something. they hit 3 enemies per shot and can knockback at some lowish chance but due to their low attack speed and accuracy knockbacks don't happen all that often unless you've got like 3 shotguns in a squad, which isn't that great anymore due to the damage nerf.

all the shotguns have pretty similar stats so any of them are fine for leveling.

To put this into perspective, regular A classes (the Jade Dragon included!) take about 2M to 2.5M to master, S classes about 3.5M, SS classes 4-4.5M and finally Z classes around 10M. So not only did they release ND as a borderline useless palette swap - they even royally fucked up his growth, slowing it down to a quarter of the speed A classes should, so that not even shitters can toy around with him effectively. They really fucked him up in every little way possible.

And do all groups share the same personal best score, or do you earn more diamonds for working your way up through group 10 and so on?

In Raramagi, does it actually save you time going straight ahead instead of what auto does and jump on the platforms?

lyle is strong and has ranged attacks.

zain is even stronger and can deal any damage type.

zahar as beserker job has a 40% damage reduction with one of his passives if he guards he also has like 800+ base hp with 300 attack and regen.
so hes a good tank.

I would recommend blowing none of your gems for stamina, but that's just me. They give it out pretty frequently during events and promotions, you get 200 free a day from the two 1-hour time period missions, you get 50 per day from the guild, and if you really want it that badly you can get 300 a day for a month for a couple of units of national currency.

Jormungand is the first wall that most people hit in the main story. If you can't get past it with mercenary units just working on orbs for your main team. The current 5x drop quests are really good for that, and most purple frame 50+ mercs can solo it for you, though same days like today's Beast Only can be a bit harder, since people run mainly Aesir or sometimes humans in their merc slots. Just refresh until you eventually find a high level Fenrir or something.

Just focus on improving your gear and orbs and eventually you can make it to chapter 20's wall, and later get shit on by chapter 21.

Silica is the solo ez mode goddess with heal spam and +80% atk buff, but with the new unlocks on JP I'd say Asuna, Rain, Strea, Yuuki, Leafa are great for starters. Seven and ALO Asuna are also great for multi, but soloing is really rough until you are very high level.

When it comes to ranked the only one that really competes is Yuuki and maybe in center situations Strea, but both are overshadowed by later units. It's a power creep game.

In JP it's stupid not to get Silica since you have garunteed 4 star. In your version I'd be a bit more flexible. Unless she's your waifu.

His charged attack is only an instant kill when the enemy is against a wall, same with Tadaomi. My main issue with Sol (and Dizzy) is that his attack and animations are too fast. Step barely within his range and he can land two attacks once you step out. He also has a very short recovery time after attacking 4 times, and Dizzy is just constant attacks. Hopefully they change that

I think fire one may just be easier in general. Didn't get Kamome, but Xmas Claire tore through it pretty easily too.

For water I've got Ruka, but it's still pretty annoying. Might try with a Tsukimi, Ruka's laser tends to get hung up autotargeting stuff I don't want it to.

Dunno about lightning. Cleared it with shinki NY Charlotte, but it was really slow. Was kinda hoping the memorials would bring a strong fire user, but then it did and I didn't get him.
