They will catch your kite, far out damage and tank your brawler. T2 and faction ships everywhere. Of course you can score a kill against someone asleep or a carebear, but 95% of others you won't stand a chance against.

If you care about faction standings skip them. They do sorta drop give bounties in the form of the ships dropping dogtags. The dogtags can be sold to an opposing faction's navy corp for money. For instance a Caldari Navy Midshipman I dogtag will drop from a caldari navy mission frig and can be sold to a Federation Navy station for like 3500 isk.

honestly as much as i play the game and the amount of time i have invested in the game i cant in good heart reccomend it to new players or friends. I just see to many trends in the devs following a path that led to me retiring from WoW coupled with decisions that ignore the vetran players and attempt to sucker new ones in. Right now it takes 1-2 years before new players get a steady grasp of the game and get on thier own feet comfortably. Coupled with the fact that aside from bumbling around like a casual you cant realistically play this game with one account. And if you want to do industry, forget it, your talking 4-5 accounts.

I wanna leave my current alliance and join something new but not really sure who I should join. I like doing strategic fleet fights the most. Was thinking about maybe joining Horde since I am still relatively low SP.

I can rat in null, explore comfortably in null/low/WH, and have never ever done any pvp. I want to start pvp'ing and work up to learning to fly a t3 destroyer (already skilled for it nearly lvl V everything).

Honestly I always feel lost when I log on. I ask questions and they get answered but I have no idea where I should be going, what I should be flying, or what half the shit they're talking about is. When I first joined up became friends with 1 guy out of countless I tried talking to and he doesn't even log anymore.

What should I fly, what should I be doing? The thing is I know a decent amount about solo play, I can explore safely and avoid camps, scan things down fast, and play the mini game well. I know about running missions, I can fly mining barges, and rat in a blinged out navy vexor.

But when you say just bring a frig or tackler or something I don't even know where to start. End goal for me is roaming in a Jackdaw which I already have trained and all support skills to 4/5, but I don't even know the first step.

Full download is ~17GB, but if you want to conserve space don't download everything.
The download-on-demand should make it <10GB for 90% use-cases. Most likely much less but I don't want to mislead you.
