combat is better but if you want to go sub then try it out. you can always respec. I'm currently leveling sub myself. You can go daggers sub or hemo sub and use a nice slow mace or sword.
Or you can use daggers and have hemo as a back up for generating combo points when you cant get behind your target but people will laugh at you. Dont fall for the "just face stab glitch" meme. its a pain in the ass to do and isnt reliable.
Here is a dagger leveling build for sub with some points in combat for imp sprint to make world pvp better. Took imp sinister strike for soloing seeing as you will still want to be able to do it. you can take 2 points lightning reflexes instead.
