6m is obscenely fast right now with the current buffs. We were running it in 8 minutes per run earlier with KFM+WL. It took more time getting from boss to boss than to kill them. Unless the drop rate difference is like ~3x higher in 4m, running 6m right now is the way to go.

How do we get gear from Black Tower?

It's once a week, assuming no store resets. There's 24 people in the raids and every single one of them wants all the loot for months to come. Every week four (4) people will get some kind of drop loot from there, if it's one item per boss.

At this rate the next raid will already come out in like two months at most.

I don't see anyone ever getting anything from there unless they're sitting on at least 5000 gold.

From what I've figured out so far bosses 1-3 will drop 1 elemental accessory + 3 bopae pieces. I think there's probably a chance for another ele accessory as well. The dynamic boxes will drop feathers which will be used to upgrade accessories, buy bopae, and buy Mystic Amulets. The final boss drops 1 weapon evolve mat (Baleful/Seraph --> Chokma) with a chance for an extra and 3 bopae as well. He also drops upgrade materials to upgrade stages of chokma as well.

People in KR still run BT for the gear they need. Ele ring/earrings are still best in slot. Chokma weapon is still very good. We'll be running weekly BT for a long time and the gear there will be relevant for awhile. The next raid (Vortex Temple) doesn't make BT gear obsolete like in other MMOs. The only gear that's probably strictly better is the bopae and that drops in larger amounts.

This is all based off KR/TW info. It might be possible that NCWest does something smart and increases the amount of items that drop due to the rushed released schedule. We'll have to wait and see. I'm waiting for transfers to get everyone into the raid discord so we can discuss BT stuff more. We will need to have voice chat for this and everyone will be required to be in it. Not everyone will need to speak, but there's mechanics that everyone will need to know the timing off and it can change based off of dps, deaths, etc.

This is the first time we're really getting gear that's not replaced quickly and I won't even have a real group to run with. Not much of a loss if it's once a week, though. Can just look into it a bit later after seeing if there's any chance to clear it outside normie guilds on EU.

First thing that stands out is the 359 Lightning Flashes in only / 229 seconds, nearly an activation per second, which means your raw speed in performing the animation cancel is quite good, and you're not losing downtime often in the fight. So like for example. I have Summer Sea outfit replacing Masked Hongmoon and I want to swap it to replace Regal Diplomat for example.

Lewd Gon F outfit replaces Hongmoon, I want to move that to Masked Hongmoon.

Okay, it's easy I can do it you can do it.
Those 3 files you talk about make the outfit you wear, each file does something different that allows the outfit to work so if one of them missing or the hex code/filename is wrong weird stuff happens, keep in mind.

Now, you only need 2 things to work: A hex code editor and a way to get/find the upk/file names (This also means that you need to know which of the 3 files is the skeleton file, material file, etc.)
So if you want whatever outfit you like to replace Masked Hongmoon you are going to need the Masked Hongmoon upk files because those are the ones you are going to edit.

I am under the impression this is the crux of the debate for Baleful vs Seraph. Seraph picks you up about ~2% DPS increase with the flicker bonus, where as Baleful gives opportunity to reset V and X for increased Surge uptime, also with the increased damage from buffs and MSP shields on V, offers you a nice chunk of extra damage as well. (Plus whatever minor actual proc damage you get from Baleful)

If you come from BDO or ArcheAge, you'll probably not find it that bad.

The upgrade system is more or less linear with weaponry and accessories that you obtain early in the game, and evolve them by fusing them with versions the bosses drop, along with other items acquired through instances or crafting.

Instances are either 6man or 4man, the latter being the more difficult one.

There are 24man raids. Until recently, they weren't a major focus in the game, but they're now starting to gain relevance.

The grinding is pretty tolerable. As long as you do your dailies everyday, you'll make enough to catch pretty far up pretty fast now.

As others have said, they've constantly been rolling out cheaper upgrade paths for new players just starting out. Then once you catch up to 500AP it'll be pretty easy for you to do the dungeon dailies which is a lot of gold there as well. There isnt actually a need to swipe in this game unless you're trying to 6v6. Swiping is only for impatient people who want to have the best the first day it comes out

Yes there are 24man raids within dungeons. There are also 24man open world quests as well. Then there are 6man dungeons which are your standard, then 4man dungeons which are the harder/st versions (for now).
