I can't decide where I want to put my 100 mythril.

On one hand, the only FFT relic I have is Agria's Kaiser Shield. Most of my BSBs are knight and holy related, so an Imperil Holy would be great for team comp but at the same time I already have far too many knights.

I could pull on the summon nightmare banner instead. I want to get a mage team going and this is the best opportunity, but I'm 8/40 and feeling like I'll pull five more tiny bees or something.

The only characters I'm aware of who can deal more damage with the same spell are units with Magic Killers (i.e. Exdeath) and units with Enhanced spells (not in global yet).

Magic has a damage range between 90% and 110% so your Ariana probably got a low damage roll while D.Fina got a high damage roll.

What the fuck is this shit? You have to arbitrarily grind your agility/evasion up to be able to run away from battles, which involves wearing light armor or some shit. You're fishing level does make a difference, and three is pretty low. There are some fish you just can't catch if you aren't strong enough.

My advice is go find some easier spots and just fish all day then camp to level up. Do some side quests for that fisherman if you haven't finished them all.

You're doing the second cat food quest right? The one where the cat is at the lighthouse. IIRC that fishing spot is one of the toughest spots in the game.

This banner looks to be good. Xiao looks to be a CRAZY DPS unit with 252 ATK at 6*, Ling has AoE raise and refresh, and Yun is a strong fister.

Darkwolf, you should rejoice that Xiao is looking to be a great unit at 6*. Now we need that datamine to see what 6* Xiao exactly gets in her kit.

I just attempted it myself, but all I had was Hymn of the Fayth, Machina Sabotage, Assault Reels, and a shared Medica. I even tried giving Jecht Piercing Strike, but he only did almost 7000 damage with a Meteor Crush boost, the second highest damage output I could muster after around 10k per command 1 with a Tidus BSB RW. But I eventually ran out of fucking everything while the boss still had 40% HP left and the run ended up a wash as a Tsunami finally put me out of my misery.

So enjoy your ice crystals, I'll have to get them elsewhere.

My FFVIII synergy is similiar (4 reforged SSB+ weapons), albeit i did succumb to a few money draws due to despair, I hope I can steel my will better next time.
My X synergy is decent, but mostly stat sticks, so this CM will have to wait.

I spent like three hours on and off hit-and-run charging SB gauges on everyone myself honestly. I don't think I could have survived his weak phase for very long, end of the fight was just Lulu casting her BSB twice for 35k every time, meanwhile Jecht OSB did jack shit.

I'm pretty sure I got lucky as hell too, he only used Swallow twice and the rest was the physical attacks I put the most effort into gimping.

Still, it has some uses if only two or three people get KOd, but it still means that roughly 3 to 4 people are out of a turn due to having to heal them up to full (assumption being the people using items/skills to heal them are also in good shape/full)

Xiao 6*! That 262 ATK looks sick but they're probably adding the 50% from Brawl and her 20% ATK bonus, but that would put her at 154 Base ATK, which is pretty high.

They changed this guy's TM or it was mistranslated, but it says it increases attack with a Fist, rather than with a Fire Weapon. I might be forced to do the daily pull along with the free pulls. Prishe can't be complete without this body armor!
