It had a nice sound track. I still listen to a few of the songs from it now and then. The routes were very hit-or-miss though. Some were pretty good, some were pretty bad. The romances were all fairly sub-par, though the h-scenes themselves tended to be very nice.

The characters were fairly average - in fact, I ended up liking some of the side characters much more than the main characters. There were a few linguistic quirks where they repeat words enough that it turns into a bit of meme (I remembered the color red...)

Overall I'd say it was pretty average. Not particularly good, not really bad, with the only standout feature being the OST.

If you like chuunige I think you'll enjoy it well enough, though if you prefer moege you'll probably won't care for it very much.

There's a recs sheet on the front of the wiki and the raddit sheet is google-able.

Personal suggestions from a moeshitter would be Noble Works, Eden*, KaraKara, Koiken Otome.

If you're not big on cutesy bullshit Eden* of those three has depth outside of that, otherwise for VNs where if you don't have the romance they hold up: Comyu and G-senjou no Maou are fairly good.

Grisaia and Majikoi are two other ones to mind, but Grisaia has some finicky elements that are either a hit-or-miss, and Majikoi is a massive fucking VN, not one I'd suggest starting your initial trek into the abyss with.

I'd recommend Grisaia over Majikoi, if only because Majikoi is so packed with VN cliches and tropes that it would be off-putting to someone used to more realistic stories.

Also because Grisaia's common route has some great comedy in it whereas Majikoi's routes are extremely hit(Wanko) and miss(Chris).
