So hear me out, there's 12 animals in the zodiac and there's 12 players in your average game.

What if the special mode for the New Year event plays off of that with a rotation of the zodiac, like a big Rock-Paper-Scissors game?

Each player gets assigned an animal, alternating between the teams, and the only player you can do damage to is the animal next on the wheel. So say you get assigned Rooster, you have to go after the Dog player. And the only player that can kill you is the Monkey.

Obviously this might not fare as well if, say, you pick Lucio, and your target player is Pharah. As such, they could limit the heroes you can actually choose to a select 12, making the comps somewhat fair and balanced. Or they could simply randomize who gets what, similar to Random Heroes, and the challenge would be in finding your target player while avoiding the one targeting you.

Here's what I came up with as far as who could be what and what they would go after (going clockwise of course.) D.Va avoids Tracer while attacking Hanzo, who targets Widowmaker, and so on. Healers were omitted on purpose due to the nature of the proposed rules.

This is actually how you're supposed to use him. Lure enemies into your zone of control and tear them limb from limb.

I actually use Reaper in a similar way, except on attack. Just wait for a teammate to either create an opening or an enemy to be out of position. Reaper is deceptively hard to kill once you get a few globes around you.

Bastion's normal turret form can now fire 5 of his tank shells with his RMB before needing to reload. His Tank mode is basically now also a mobile turret form, able to shoot his 450 gattling with his LMB and tank shells with his RMB without reloading.

There, Bastion's fixed. He can rocket jump in his turret form now.

Basing it on individual performance would be ridiculously hard if not impossible. Multiple heroes, switching, alternative playstyles, intangibles, etc.
Wins might as well be the closest you can get especially if you don't account for leavers/trollers. Even better if there's separate queues for group/solo.

The fact that they hate each other so much is evidence in itself for love. Strong emotion doesn't come from no where. That's not the single biggest piece of evidence at all no, you have to look at it from a literary sense and pick up on the hints Chu's left in the story. As few as there are. The point being though, nothing about them will ever give off a normal vibe instead you have to go off of their actions that Chu has dropped in the story that contradict that anger. That's the point. It's why they're there.

Grind and practice aiming, it doesn't have to be ranked if that's what makes you anxious. QP has its own hidden MMR that influences placements as well. Simply grinding QP and frequently winning will have a real effect on your starting SR next month.

You'll cut through to 3000+ without even realizing it if you just put enough time in.

Mystery heroes is literally the worst game mode because it all boils down to the very first team comp: If it's good, most of them will probably survive the first team fight, meaning they'll have their ults and the other team won't, and it's all just one big roll from there.

Winston needs a buff to his shield. Everything else is fine with him. It has shit health, long ass cooldown, and the cooldown doesn't even start until after it disappears.

You're describing how I play OW. I like the game but I just don't play it outside of events and new ranked seasons, but doing placements is always worth it.

I've played a grand total of 40 ranked games across 3 seasons and I have 3300 comp points sitting in my bank. 60+ ("diamond" now) in S1 was almost all of those.

Golden guns look fucking dumb and I'm holding out for new options if they don't swap out the currency somehow.

I legit can't get out of gold. I lose considerably more elo losing than I get winning. There's always someone on my team fucking up, or leaving.

Yeah that's what I meant. I feel like she is probably easier to use on console since it's harder to aim. Since she has such a big magzine missed shots are more forgiving. Whereas say a Mcree missing a shot on you is going to be really bad for him. I find Hanzos in particular panic up close. Meanwhile on PC people can flick and headshot pretty easily so can put down Sombra in a 1v1 much more consistently.
