I like it. The issue is that it's predominantly a hill figher, so on flat maps this tank falls on its face.

220 damage, 145 penetration, amazing DPM, huge gun arc, and like 1.5 second aiming time at tier 5?

I actually think the Pzsfl has been a hidden OP tank at tier 5 since they buffed the penetration on 88mm guns, because at tier 5 that kind of penetration goes through basically anything you meet. The extra penetration on the top gun is unnecessary, and it makes the gun worse in so many other ways.

Now that I think about it I don't think there was anything that bad. I avoided the lines with really shitty turds at the high tiers, like the german TD lines, the american TD lines and the french TD line. I'm honestly not sure. Maybe the KV-3? Just because it's worse than the IS in literally every way, still not that bad though. There are a number of bad tanks at the low tiers but you get through them quickly so you don't reach the stage where you say "I can't do this anymore".

I'm currently grinding the t8 VK and even though it seems to be widely regarded as a really shitty tank I'm doing okay in it. If it had more gun depression it would actually be a very good tank.

Maybe I'm being too harsh on it, but I haven't been able to "get" the cromwell yet.

It's a fast medium, but its soft stats barely compliment that speed. It has lacklstre track traverse and turret traverse, meaning it's harder to circle around, say, a heavy because of your giant turnign radius, unlike in (for example) an American light.

Its gun handling is mediocre as well. It has a good gun with good DPM, but again, the soft stats dont compliment it. It has horrible aiming time, no gun depression, and ammo that travels far to slowly. The opposite of this would be (for example) the American Walker Bulldog which has a worse gun tier-for-tier, but it has gun depression, good aiming time, and ammo that travel fast enough to hit a target while going 72kph.

Maybe I just need to spend some more time with it. I dunno.

The M1A2 76mm found on the M4A3E2 and M4A3E8 has horrible accuracy. You could be fully aimed and still shoot to the right, then the left, then over, then into a track, then into the dirt before doing your ~140(?) damage. Same with the 90mm on the T20 - no accuracy.

The 105 howitzer in theory has worse accuracy, but when I played these tanks, the 105 hit more often than not, even at range.

eh, it's an alright gun, but it's not good at range and the E8 doesn't have enough armour to keep it at the front for very long. It is a good rigdeline warrior, but not enough maps have ridges to work with. and if you use anything but the stock turret and 105 on the Jumbo you need to uninstall

I found it very enjoyable to use the E8's speed and 105's alpha damage to do high damage oneshots.

Sure, the penetration sucks even with gold ammo, but I just can't get used to the 100mm gun's aim time. It also slows down the tank by a noticeable amount. For me it's a lot easier to flank with the 85mm.

The FV4202 is mainly a ridge line warrior. When it uses most or all of its gun depression it has a turret that will bounce anything up to tier 9 that's not a xboxheug HE shell.
This doesn't mean it can't fight in city maps. I found this tank to be pretty good with side scrapping. Also, the extreme angle of the upper plate means that you can bounce a few shots. The main armour weakness is the turret ring. This gets hit a lot and can be quite annoying.
The gun is kind of low calibre (84mm iirc) so you won't overmatch anything except for Swedes, but you have enough penetration to effectively take out pretty much anything. It has the regular tier 8 premium tank alpha (240).
