The anima quest clearly states I can have my weapon in my inventory and still receive credit but I tried both having it my inventory and in my armoury; neither worked.

Is it absolutely required to be playing as the class you're trying to obtain your weapon with? They really should specify that if it's the case.

Scathach is wonderful. I haven't even done Zurvan EX yet, I just unlocked it and went back to regular Scathach runs. Haven't even done the new dungeons yet. Just Dun Scaith spam, Zurvan NM, being entertained by raid finder actually being worse today than usual and started on a character's light farming for the BLM relic

beat the mob down to 25% HP, go /RDM, and have enough MAB gear that you can do 1 damage with dia. or, if the mobs are weak enough, go as /WHM and gather 4-5 of them, then spam diaga. as long as it does damage, it'll feed them TP, and if they're below 25% HP, they'll use TP moves as soon as they hit 1k TP. it's much more efficient that way.

Echidna was fine mechanically, she was just boring as sin. Old Man Cu and the Bile Chronicles was pretty good, but honestly he was the only boss of Void Ark that I enjoyed. Weeping City was so much nicer almost entirely because of Ozma being there, but Forgaal was a cool guy and Calofisteri was funny even if she basically couldn't wipe you after day 1 because she sucked at even killing a single tank and relied on everyone dying to entanglements or haircut. I'm really thankful Dun Scaith managed to be great like how World of Darkness was great. But Dun Scaith went so much further, every boss is enjoyable, it has a waifu and it did a really good job bringing back bosses from the Amdapor trio of dungeons
