There has been next to no dev i put on anything. Pretty much every email goes unanswered unless its a fix for a cosmetic, and valve remains silent about what they are doing beyond an occasional vague blog post.
One can only hope that valve is just too busy working on something cool beyond the vive controllers, but we have no idea.

Pipes are a bitch to hit on good players

while playing as a medic i feel vulnerable. in an optimal game there is usually somebody near me to protect me, i heal them and they keep away scouts and shit. but i notice in competitive half the time while im playing medic my teammates will avoid me out of the spawn after an overheal and i feel they explosive jump too much and too far away as they are never close enough to save me when i do get ambushed trying to keep up with them. what do i do in these situations? how do other medics deal with this? do i keep my distance and wait until another player is close by instead of trying to chase down these faggots? should i drop crossbow in these situations for syringe so i can defend myself? or sacrifice overheal with quickfix at the risk of every other player crying "use a real uber"?

Pocket Demoman and Heavies (you won't come across them in comp but anyway) with priority.
Then Soldiers can be both sweeper if you overheal them, or a pocket if they were smart enough to carry a Shotgun.
Scouts are always sweepers and you have to keep them on overheal, if Scouts are not overhealed they can not shoo off other hitters like other Scouts or roamer Soldiers.

Sounds fine to me. If you can not make the pocket wait, then hang out with a Scout. Keep him overhealed then chase your pocket after his tail.

Nah, Crossbow is too good to drop and spycheck. Use bow at range, melee them if close; simple. Blut is good if you wanna go battle Medic for lulz

If no one pays you attention, may be you should do it, so at least they remember they have a Medic. Priority for QF must be support (banner- Not B.A.S.E) Soldiers over all else. Better if they're equipped with Air Strike or LL.
