Kodaka's commentary on his fanbase, accompanied by his own dev team as the real antagonists of the story.

It's the greatest story for a VN ever written. Fight me, it is. The twist is well done, comes out of nowhere, makes everyone laugh with how bizarre it is at first and then becomes serious and moving. The way they present the world and the characters, and the use of Danganronpa as a symbol of the problematic nature of a culture of death comes off as elegant, and the final conclusion shows that even though fiction is deceitful it still has the power to change the world. It's the best VN SC has ever put out for sure, and I'd put it right up there with the likes of Swan Song and Forest.

I think the problem was that, as shitty as DR's world building can be, it still was present and at least somewhat consistent as a looming presence- the despairpocalypse, the SHSL caste system, etc etc

Here, we get a fucked up dystopic world that's glossed over with LMAO EVERYONE REALLY LOVES DANGAN RONPA. It kind of works from a meta perspective, but from a fiction perspective, it makes the world look incredibly flat. Why on earth would any student sign up for this besides being extremely suicidal or forced into it?

A few fixes:

>Make at lest some students forced to sign up for the games in some capacity. This straight up rips from the hunger games but whatever.
>Show some of the politics that went into putting these games up in the first place. Make them a ceremony to... idk, remember the victims of a first killing game that actually happened and use bad students/actual criminals (ties in with the prison theme, even)
>Show some of the effects of these games on the outside world. I find it incredibly hard to believe that people are okay with this happening for 53 years without complaint just because some games were very popular.

And so on and so forth. I think the problem with chapter six is it becomes more of a critique on a fictional world then a fictional world itself.
