The thing that bothers me the most is not the changes. It's how they were portrayed. We were following the orders of our commanders and an a great creature of Light, Ad'al. We discover Illidan's right hand has organized slavery and is draining most of the planets remaining natural water, using demonic blood to power an army of fel orcs, and has several demons under his command. Were we just supposed to look at that and say "he's probably doing it for good causes :)" ?

Then years later, ANOTHER great being of Light comes and tells us "NOOOO why did you dooo thaaaat? You're baaaad."

And to top it all of, I absolutely hate the Illidari. They're edgy in all the wrong ways. "I SACRIBISED EBERYDING. WAT HAB U GIBEN ::D"

Altruis was able to see how twisted Illidan was, but if he spoke out about that, he'd surely be killed or imprisoned. And Akama may have "betrayed" us, but he had enough sense to realize what we were doing later was right, thanks to Altruis actually talking to him. Whereas Kayn just goes "BAH SUCK HIS SOUL OUT"

So yeah. Fuck this Illidan cock gobbling shit. Fuck Kayn Sunfury. Fuck Xe'ra. And fuck Blizzard's "writing" team.

I am in a guild of normies. We have like a 10 people core that's pretty decent and doesn't miss raid days and shit, and then everyone else is either gigantic shotters or just don't give a fuck about raiding and putting any effort in general?

What do I do? Our core is good enough for Mythic but we can't do it since we aren't enough people and gearing people and boosting them on heroic for them to leave after 2 weeks is getting tiring.

Kael didn't betray Illidan until after you killed him in Tempest Keep(Which, by the way, he and his forced invaded and claimed under direct orders from Illidan. Tempest Keep was previously under Naaru control and Kael and the Illidari killed several of them during the invasion).
Up until that point, he maintained the facade of being a loyal member of the Illidari. He didn't outright betray Illidan until he was able to go endgame with the Sunwell.

Also, the naga attacked first. You discover their presence in Zangarmarsh by finding a group of people they ambushed and killed, and you find out that they're draining all of the water from the marsh so that they can kill all the native life, just because.

If you are new player, play pure DPS class like Mage/Hunter/Warlock/Rogue and dont have guild/friends to play with, you are currently at the hardest part of gearing up. After 850 it gets easier, after 860 it will skyrocket. Easiest method is probably joining any HC/Normal guild, 90% of the time they are more than willing to help you gear up.

Have you progressed your own keystone? Its pretty easy way to get gear and AP.

I'm playing mage, and I have not been able to find a decent guild so far.
I used my first keystone to do 3 runs, which gave me 7 chest sin total.
However, all I got from those 3 runs were AP-items and a shitty neck. Luckily someone else traded me their 865 neck for free, so I wasn't completely fucked.

Now I have a HoV+9 keystone, which is apparently fucking worthless, since no one wants to do mythic HoV, and my ilevel is shit to boot.

I've been trying to get into other +2s for like 2 hours now and the only 3 groups that didn't decline me kicked me shortly after accepting.

I already blew 25k gold on heirlooms to level a Warlock, so I have something to do.


Honestly, arcane mage is super fun to play and all, but everybody is so massively overgeared and I have literally no impact, so all I can hope for is to get good gear in time for the next raidcontent to experience the raids like they were meant to be experienced.
