I know it's mostly a skyrim general, but I'm having a problem with oblivion, frostcrag spire tells me to go to the mystic emporium, but said store is permanently locked, and unlocking it just means im tresspassing when i go in
I have the unnofficial patch for it, and i already tried that thing i found in google to go unlock the upper floor, but nothing changes. it just gets relocked the next day and it's always trespassing no matter what

Any ideas on what could cause a crash after loading a save? I'm able to get in game, but after I die or load my most recent save, I get a CTD. This is a brand new save, so I'm sure it has to be mod-related. It used to happen at random, but I've managed to get it to happen consistently with this character. I just don't know where to start looking for the problem.

That's just the BodySlide files for that armor mod, it doesn't come with the mod itself. You need to download the normal, separate mod to get the armors and install that, as well.

To get this part to install properly, right click on the Data folder part and Set as Data Directory. MO will always say "no game data on top level" if it's just BodySlide stuff, so don't worry.

i had this problem before, since this is just the sliders for the armor, i simply dragged the caliente tools folder unto the data folder of the original armor mod alongside the esp and mesh and texture folders instead of having mo handle it for me.

You're doing it right. Right click data and "set data folder" anyway. MO will tell you there's no game data on top level, but it's not wrong technically. It's just bodyslide files not game files, so it doesn't use them at all, just bodyslide does.

So I have a weird problem: If I try to load any of Gina's saves with certain ENB it CTD's, but only with certain ENB like TKRE or Snapdragon, and only this character's saves. I tried making a new game and it CTD's whenever I load the facegen for Gina, but any other facegen works fine. This has started happening recently I could load her saves/face no problem with these ENB's before.

/tesg/ I come to you for advice. I installed a race mod from the nexus, The succubus race mod (one of the top race mods on the nexus, wont let me link it), and the face of that race looks pretty low res to me, almost resembling what happens to the vanilla warpaints when you set the resolution to 2048 like most warpaints mods tell you to do, Which tells me this is an error with one of my .ini files.

Pic related, top is of the succubus, bottom is of the a imperial (with the face pack from the CBBE mod). Before I even installed the CBBE mod the vanilla faces were also looking kinda blocky the the succubus face, especially around the lips. Can this be fixed by tweaking an .ini? if so, which one? or am I fucked?

Hey man, thanks for the info there, I put the texture of the Imperial (the one in my original pic) and gave it to the succubus, and it got rid of all the blockiness. Graphical effects are the only noticeable difference. Skyrim SE is 64bit but nothing really makes use of that yet. It comes with some sun rays, bloom and dof by default. It looks a little better than vanilla normal Skyrim at max settings and comparable to some performance enbs.

Essentially enb development had to start over from the ground up for it. It'll be months and months before it has anything comparable to modern enbs.

Lack of skse is the main issue right now though. If you intend to play mostly vanilla, then I guess you could enjoy the slightly better performance in SE, but you'll never be able to make it look as good as a fully modded normal Skyrim and you won't have access to any complex mods for a long time.

I'm wondering if someone could help me out here. I saw a webm of this spell in skyrim that, when you cast it, gives you a sort of bullseye that you can jump on that negates all fall damage. So I could for instance be on top of a building, cast the spell on the floor beneath me, and if I fell onto it all my fall damage would be negated.

Is this a part of vanilla or a mod? If so, which mod?

I thought about this, and modding the game can be an as arduous and satisfying experience as actually playing the game. It is definitely more satisfying. Very meta.

I'm not a waifu kind of guy, but I'll probably get into making pretty screenshots eventually, so it's on the to-do-list, along with installing ENB. Pic related is how my game looks atm, with HD texture mods, Climates mod, and only "Immersive Saturation Boost" to enhance the vanilla look.
