So does anything change when marrying a companion?

Also, do other followers get more story, too? Like a mission at least or something? The only missions so far were with Kaliyo but all the others - jackshit. They tell me stuff and occasionally leave the ship but I haven't had to do a single mission with them and I just arrived on Voss.

Getting kinda concerned they are only 2nd degree companions.

you get command points from pretty much everything at 70, and each day there'll be a different thing that has a bonus
the interface has queueing buttons for warzones, GSF, flashpoints and ops, and a direct access button for KotFE/ET chapters and planetary missions

You should be able to que any FPs from wherever by using the button on your mini-map. I think someone mentioned that was a sub only feature, though.

The best social farm would be Black Talon/Esseles, but you will need a pre-made group if you're over level 15.

Lost Island

You may have some difficulty soloing in CWG and LI because of a few places relying on party mechanics, but it's still doable (google "colicoid war game solo" on youtube for a sample walkthrough vid which shows how to bypass the puzzle).
