What is your biggest complaint about TW3 ?

Mine is the fact that after the Battle of Kaer Morhen, everyone acknowledges that The Hunt will be back, and that they will learn from their defeat, yet both Lambert and Eskel abandons you.

My experience with CDPR's customer assistance has been uniformly positive. When I had trouble with installing WItcher 1 one of the company directors took the case on, probably because he was the only one whose English was good enough to handle it. Even so, they kept passing a relatively minor issue up the chain until they found someone who could help. In AoK I got the Kayran bug where the fight wouldn't progress so they actually had me zip up a save file, e-mail it to them, played the fight for me, and then e-mailed it back to get around the issue.

Seriously give them a shot. They're mental, but they help their customers.

People underestimate how much power the ''Golden decks'' can create.
You can create power swings of even +40 points with little effort.

If you win the first round, they usually think you are just stalling the second round, that you can't win, so they pass when they have 3-2 cards left.
You can then play things like Shani into KoB into Nenneke into Siege tower and Baron into Lubberkin into Priscilla into Promote and pull a huge power swing out of your ass.

I'm having a big success with it, but I don't really think is competitive.

What is the difference between the Quen sign and the Heliotrop sign?

I think the books wound up using Quen for physical attacks and Heliotrop for magical signs or something, but it's been a while since I read them.

The translations weren't too consistent about some things.

That said Heliotrop did show up in the second game, but it was a time-slow skill instead. Hella powerful.

Not really.

Witcher 3 is a lot more complete in terms of optimisation, quests, balance and abilities than Skyrim. So there's nothing that's outright broken and needs to be fixed. Not saying it's perfect or that everyone's going to like it, just that it's a way more complete experience straight out of the box.

Some people like alternate armour sets. I just use the console command unlocker so I can fast travel from anywhere to a signpost (since I feel that's how it should have worked in the first place, signpost to signpost annoys me) and Slots Slots Slots because I earned those character points and want to use them.

That's just me though.

After killing Mad Rad the Lad, everyone goes to celebrate to the Parssiflora.
Dijkstra and some of his boys, Thaler, Roche, the temerian guerrilla, Ves having her way with one of the whores, etc, etc.

As the night ends, everyone starts leaving the brothel.
Dijkstra calls Geralt and they both sit, have a drink and start talking.

Dijkstra explains what the temerians want to do. He explains that they are going to sell the north to Emhyr.
He tells Geralt that Ciri will never be free in that world. That all witchers and all mages will have to conform to whatever the emperor dictates. That Emhyr and the empire will never stop, and Kovir and the other kingdoms will be next.

You get the option to ask him how he knows that. You can ask if he could do better. What would he change.

Finally, he confess. His thugs are on the way and they are going to kill the temerians, who are drunk and can't defend themselves, near one of the gates.
You have 2 options: stay and finish the bottle, in the memory of those that died to protect the Northern Kingdoms, or start running and try to get on time to save the temerians.

If you choose to run and save Roche & friends, by the time you go back to Dijkstra you'll find that he already left Novigrad in a boat with as much gold as he could get.
Dijkstra is alive, somewhere Kovir, planning how to debilitate and destroy the nilfgaardian influence.

Is stupid, I know and I don't care.
But this gives you the option to hear Dijkstra's side, and is much easier to accept his offer this way than just walking away while the thugs kills Roche, Thaler and Ves.

I'd remove the scene where Radovid orders the guards to kill Geralt and instead make a heartfelt and melancholy scene as Radovid is genuinely grateful for Geralt's help and compliments him. This would the make the player feel empathy or maybe even regret for setting him up.

Geralt would then leave and it's only described afterwards what happened to him. Djikstra would then try to poison them but Geralt could feel the scent and can choose to confront Djikstra. The scene then plays out like it did except Djikstra doesn't fight himself and surrenders when you kill his guards, you can choose to kill or spare him but it you won't see him for the rest of the game either way.

Just being realistic, not to mention that he has already served his part of the story. I wish CDPR actually left more things up to imagination. Geralt is present at every development of the story, it would be nice if you heard what the other members of the party did once you were gone. Avallac'h could for example say that he's been traveling to different worlds on his own and could perhaps give trinkets to you.

Well, the process was developed for human males.

The Wolves could only do the pre-mutation diet with Ciri and had to stop that because it was going to fuck her biology up.

I guess theoretically it's possible that a mad enough mage who knew enough about SCIENCE! and MAGIC! could adapt the procedure for use with human women or non-humans, but all the Witcher schools we know about are defunct. Nobody knows how the mutagens work any more and nobody really cares because monsters have been driven nearly to extinction.
