Volstagg is still very useful though. Just don't use his skill with reflect damage. I used him to clear floor 2 speed rumble. He managed to clear it all by himself (with maximum team up bonus from 5* Hogun and Fandral, though). I like him very much.

If you have a different lead than Strange and the opponent has a Strange in lead, wait until they get done with their 4, switch to your Strange and go to town.

Its a pretty tight rotation and the instant from 3* to 5* is important or he can break free and cause havoc. Delay before using the iframe is important too, want to have 6* ready again when you exit iframe to snare him as soon as you get out. Takes a bit of practice but its great when you get it down.

Seeing as there are no good defense sets...
There's only 6 worthwhile sets and they're the 3 attack sets, Hawk's Eye(HE), Power of Angry Hulk(PoAH) and Overdrive(OD); the healing sets, Stark's Backing(SB) and I Am Also Groot(IAAG); and arguably the only good shield set Drastic Density Enhancement(DDE). Tho DDE being good is debated here

For Carnage?, seeing as his 5* makes him p much untouchable, until it runs out, when you can then use his 3* heal w/i-frames before going back to the 5* means that outside of bs or being a shitter, you're not getting hit so a healing set is unnecesary as is a shield set, so what you want is more damage, hence an attack set. HE gives you scd and dodge which so long as you have good cards Carnage doesn't need dodge so poah or od are probably better fits, but depending on your sc situation you might want HE, regardless it's like the 3rd best set you could roll for him.

TL;DR: Carnage needs an attack set. HE is the 3rd best thing you could roll, keep it. When it comes to iso sets anything other than HE/PoAH/OD/IAAG/SB/DDE is trash.

Am I just the one shitter that doesn't understand the hype/desire to do this mode? With my rag tag team of "bad" heroes for any given day I can still get at least the 50k (save for combat hero) points that nets me the gold. Beyond that I have to double the score to get an iso (which I can do on maybe 2-3 days consistently) that isn't even awakened or anything, and beyond that you get literally nothing but measuring your package against the whales in your alliance. Like I can't even get 50k on combat hero day and people are like "oh yo dog you definitely need to rank up and T2 MK for combat hero AB day!" like fuck that, even if I guaranteed he would get me 100k each combat hero day I'm not doing that shit for some iso and a menial amount of gold (that probably wouldn't even make up the cost of ranking/masting/gearing/isoing him out)

Someone tell me what the reasoning behind people giving 2 fucks about this mode is. If someone can already get an okay score (literally 50k) on every day, for what reason would anyone ever want to do more? Hell on most days I will just get 50k and then let the meteors kill me to get out quicker because the iso is barely worth it and the epic top score!! definitely isn't.

Getting 100k every day means you're getting 8 6* ISOs a week, whether they're useful or awakening fodder is irrelevant.
It saves a good chunk of cash upgrading lower tier ISOs to 6* and basically accelerates the rate in which you can deck out your shitters if you want. Or you can use them to fully awaken ISO sets on your mains to faceroll faster.
Then there's the pesky chaotics which is the true endgame.

You want Recovery and invincibility so he can lasts forever, if you want to kill stuff faster you want recovery and a damage proc. Attack set helps him kill stuff.
His 5 skill gives him a buff after he uses it so it's worth ranking that up. At T2 with poor gear he's pretty lackluster but fully decked out he's a beast. You also want his uniform.

I've used him in a speed relay in floor 6, and he beat it without issues and plenty of time left, I'm sure he can beat a hero relay between 10 and 15, and maybe do something afterwards if I gear him up and RNG helps me with the floor. I only T2'd him fairly recently, so not much I could try with him.

I actually have RR and Snare Resist on it. With Hulkbuster lead, T2 Fister team up; and using HB's 6* + Fister's 5* at the beggining and at the end, I can reach 50k with at least 15-20 seconds left. And yes, I do have his uni.

I'm sure there might be a better alternative than him in other combats to reach higher if you can't with him, but he certainly makes it the easiest choice for sunday's ABX.

Lightning damage/dodge/damage proc is what you want if you're ballsy. Otherwise invuln is nice and with her dodge + iframes should keep her alive for long periods of time.

Round up the enemies and use her 5.
Max out her 3 for more dodge and use it whenever it's up. Use her 2 to jump away from meteors, her 1 to do damage. Run around in circles, rinse and repeat. It's a bit tedious and T2 Elsa is easier due to the damage immunity.

T1 Widow can solo the Iron Man relay pretty easy. At T2 she can reliably do Rocket boss. Her lightning damage is energy so she can't do the energy reflect blast relay.

Goblin should be able to solo a floor pretty easy as well. Winter Soldier with Uni can solo stuff too by abusing his immunity cancel.

Kingpin can do up to Luke Cage boss with Uni but if you can't, he can be used on earlier floors.

It's a bit hard to predict these days since back in the day updates would only go live when there were no sales or HOT TIME, but now HT is on a permanent schedule and live sales no longer seem to be an issue. There's limited qty sales running all week and have been running while the past couple of patches went live.

Unless the update isn't dropping this week at all (who knows what's going on), then it's likely for the notes to drop today/tonight in ~6 hours with the update going live tomorrow. Hopefully the social media team fucks up again and posts early maintenance notices or the trailer finds its way to the public beforehand like it did for 2.7.

Def pen is so good because its 100% consistent, it will always give you x% defense penetration.

Crit rate or damage is far too valuable in that its an all-or-nothing stat. If you crit its a damage increase, if you don't crit it does literally nothing. Defense pen will always be king for damage stat unless your crit rate/damage is near cap.

Got x225 selectors from SL + x40 from the week 1 of daily check-in, so x265 total. If Medusa is through selectors then I will use them on her to initially unlock her, pop a mega 6* ticket, and then use the rest for gears. Then the selectors from SL after weekly reset will go to her again if her gears need more. Then I'll pop a T2 ticket on her. Riri and Kate will get SL selectors after that. Idc about them.
