I just figured she'd be around more, like how Dandelion and Zoltan were pretty much there for all of TW1 and TW2. Guess that would have been ahrd to write around though. That's really hard to accomplish. Ciri has books of character history and it would be practically impossible to translate it all into game(same with Yen), so they focus on making the player care. It might not be the best, but it's absolutely vital seeing how TW3 story is basically 'Save Ciri'

Truth is they didn't try. It was just easier to go the pandering route. Still, they did a better job with Yennefer than Ciri. Cii is barely recognizable from the end of the books to TW3, even if you do account for the time gap.

Ciri is the one who saves him form the Wild Hunt, so she already knows they were separated, and Geralt probably talked to her about his amnesia and the things he's been through in the past few years. But again, this is just me guessing,I'm not stating it as a fact, I might be worng, itss never said in the game.

Well, I don't see it as such and let's not forget that Triss also did some good things for Geralt in the books, like trying her best to help Ciri and even advising Geralt to go to Yen when she realizes she is not powerful enough to deal with her or saving Geralt's life on Thanedd.

If we take the games into consideration( I do, because that's where my love for Triss stems form) Triss more than makes up for her misdoings in my eyes and for my Geralt.

But it's understandable if some people don't forgive her, she undeniably did some shitty things. To me it all adds up and makes her more interesting though as we see her showing a wide variety of emotions and behaviors.

I disagree, Triss was held in the dark because she questioned the Lodge and was close to Geralt, that's why they started doubting her priorities and they were right, Triss has changed and is not the same little errand girl for them she once was. Triss also wasn't fully aboard with the plans of the Lodge so they cut her off.

Triss has doubt about their involvement in the assassinations but she had no proof. Once she acquired it, Letho takes her. The first time she next sees Geralt, Triss comes clean and goes to the Summit with Geralt to speak against the Lodge. Knowing the history she had with them I see it as a crucial step for her and a moment where she finally realizes the Lodge isn't acting in the interests she personally wants and starts taking things into her own hands. That is shown quite well in TW3.

You are of course free to see it differently, but for me Triss was pure awesomeness in TW2 and that game cemented my love for her forever.

Tamara's earliest memories are of him walking around in a drunken rage. I think it's reasonable to assume the drinking was what precipitated it. Especially since it's the first thing the Baron himself brings up as the cause for all this shit.

I see Bloody Baron as a typical abusive drunk, self pitiful when sober, aggressive when drunk. We see people like that in real life all the time. It's different with Geralt,Yen and Ciri, they are not a typical family by any means and they never actually lived together for a longer period of time and functioned as one. Serious post: At the start you're so weak compared to the huge mobs ofw ell equipped enemies at La Valette castle that you must use absolutely every tool at your disposal or you will die. Roll, throw bombs, drink potions, use oils, lay traps, use signs. All of it. Crowd control is everything. Even a 1 on 1 fight with ome of those knights is hard if you don't know the timing yet, and 3-6 of them is a death sentence if you just stick with your sword.

Stick with the game. The prologue is the hardest part. The combat will eventually click.
