Again, it's a leveling instance that's below BRD and the loot's sole purpose is to level with. Key exceptions are made for some Nature resist pieces and Princess loot (even that's questionable).

You can however expect a very long and slow run before they changed Consec from being Wrath spec it was easily doable but its harder now, A lot harder.

Have no taunt
Have no way to pull safely

It's a strange collection of genuinely newer players who just want to have fun, some extremely annoying people who just want to shit up guild chat and be as obnoxious as possible, and a few who have been playing for years and consider themselves experts who are there mostly to argue and show off for the new people.
The only real thing they all have in common is that they are all without exception extremely shitty at the game.
If you're not one of the loud obnoxious people or one of the warlocks sitting in gchat arguing for 7 hours while his mom is dying in the next room, literally no one there will know who you are, care who you are, or give a fuck how slow you level (and will probably eventually ninja something from you either way in-between sweaty ERP sessions with other guys).

Why does an IP or server not have the capability to REFUSE requests from a range of other IPs so it won't shit itself trying to serve all of them?

If one can refuse a connection from any VPN, or any IP from a region (China), why can't they also prevent their server from even responding to pings/requests from any VPNs or IP from a region, which is what causes the destruction related to a DDoS?

You get DKP for participating in guild raids. Typically an amount for just showing up and an amount for boss kills/progression. You then 'bid' on an item when it drops. If you have more DKP than the next guy, you get it. In some cases the DKP can be removed just for bidding, or if you win you lose it all, and variations like that. There are a few other little rules that guilds can create, but this was my experience when I played.

Mounts were added in Luclin along with Alternate Advancement points (literally just talent points that were added as an "oh shit we don't have enough content prepared"). Paladins and Shadowknights both were able to spend AAs to get a mount while everyone else had to spend anywhere from like 10,000 to something like 100k platinum just to get one depending on the speed.

The way it was handled in the guild I played in, we gained DKP for every boss that we killed in that session, not just new bosses. The new bosses for the guild gave more DKP, but you were going to lose your gear bid to the guy who was more dedicated/NEET.

It can be unfair in the sense that somebody that doesn't prepare for raids, performs poorly, or gquits after a few runs will still get equal amounts of gear.

DKP still rewards players, for lack of better words, for "being better", which makes it more egalitarian than +1.

However, I agree that +1 does parity a lot better. DKP punishes players that have a lot of class competition in their guild, which of course, is not up to them.

Most fair loot system is definitely subjective, but generally anything not-rng based like need before greed is fine.

You kill mobs for hours to get a level. If you die you lost probably a few hours work and might even lose a level.

Also, you spawn naked without your inventory at your hearth location, which can be several zones away from where your corpse is (none of this graveyard shit). Enjoy an hour walk back naked. Also, good luck finding your corpse as you are nearly blind at night without a light source or a racial vision ability. If you don't recover it fast enough it decays and you lose all of your items (timer based on your level).

Most classes don't have a chance in hell of soloing mobs at all. You are a warrior that wants to solo? Bandage yourself to 50% after a mob and then sit down for an hour to regen full hp. If you are one of the lucky few classes that can solo your downtime is a cozy 5+ minutes instead, what a luxury.

Quests are few and far between. The only ones that give any worthwhile exp require mob drops.

Yet people think is some amazing achievement to play vanilla wow.

I've tried it and it is quite solid. Uses the clients movementmaps to avoid getting stuck and takes smart paths. The bot is pretty much all memorywriting so you never need to put down any skills on your actionbars or anything like that.

However to avoid getting banned you would have to make your own grind profiles since the public ones are known and WILL get you banned.

I main a priest. Was looking to make an alt to PVP with occasionally and also to gather mats and stuff with. Probably will rarely if ever raid with them but might do some dungeons for gear.

Tossing up between a Warrior, Rogue, and Shaman.

Shaman seems good because I enjoy healing and also since they melee and wear mail and shields they are quite different from priest.

Rogue/Warrior on the other hand also looks fun just because they are completely different.
